  • Interesting. I have helped patients overcome type 2 diabetes using purely psychological methods. No special diets. Some (if not most) diabetics are resistant to diet changes. It is precisely this resistance that must be psychologically treated. Often diabetics are always on gaurd and ready to defend themselves; and there is also a touch of paranoia that accompanies this condition.

Using diet and psychological therapy would probably have excellent results.

  • Keep the crap (toxins) out of you such as... fast food, processed foods, SUGAR, aspartame (artificial sweetners), fried foods (trans fats), flour, table salt, enriched anything, over the counter drugs (like tylenol), prescription drugs, alcohol, etc.

think NATURE - eat WHOLE foods. mostly plant based. Fruits, veggies, Nuts & seeds. Meat in moderation & if eaten should be clean. Grass feed beef, wild fish (not farmed), etc. Marijuana-Cannabis-Pot (whatever) for MEDICINE.

    Truthknowledge. com

  • Meat is one of the worst foods for humans. It brings about cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, no matter how "clean" it be. And the same for wild fish. It is dead and brings death.

  • @tranquilocito I totally agree with you. I also think meat messes with humans dna.

  • @tranquilocito Okay so if you were stranded in the jungle and the only thing to eat was cooked meat would you just starve to death? Although I do agree a plant vegan diet is the best you shouldn't say that meat brings death. Calories are calories. The most important thing to do is eat organic and avoid food additives, refined sugar, refined flour, etc. Do you agree with me?

  • @TJBarba7 In the case you mentioned: I would not eat any meat and I think i would survive doing so. Calories are not calories. There is more to it. Meat is death and brings disease, suffering, pain and death. As you saw so shall you reap. (Our ancestors were quite aware of those simple truths.)

  • @tranquilocito Give me some science backing up the statement of our ancestors. And that meat brings death.

  • @thespecter2 go to: vegansociety(dot)com there is plenty of information. Or read the "China Study" by Colin Campbell...all referenced at the end. Go and get the original papers. They are quite informative.

  • @tranquilocito Collin Campbell is doing the wrong of the wrong and assigning a general diet to the entire mass of people while we are all proven to be biochemically diverse individuals. We all have our own unique genetic predisposition to traits, characteristics, diseases, etc. I am a strong believer in individual metabolic types because of this. Now whether it was good for us or not, I do not know. But we were PROVEN hunters and gatherers. Which includes the eating of meat.

  • @thespecter2 Please do some research. Science has proven that a plant based diet can reverse diabetes and other diseases and even can prevent cancer. We are not carnivores, we are not herbivores, we are frugivores, like the strong gorillas. You also can look at your teeth, compare the acidity of your stomach juice with that of true meat eaters, look at the length of your digestive systems, lacking capability to produce vitamin C, etc., etc. It is all so obvious but we have been mislead, deceived

  • High sugar diets are poison to diabetics.

The recent up to date information is for a low carbohydrate diet

  • "High sugar" and "high carbohydrate" are not the same.

Also, the word "high" is misleading. The vegan diet is a high percentage of carbohydrates, not a high quantity (number of grams) of carbs.

  • @ernietube1 - I wish I did not agree with you, but I do agree totally that low carbing is the way. It is a shame the animals have to die for us to eat them

  • @Catherine8here

Animals don't die for me; and they don't have to for you. We're designed for Fruit; Fruit is designed for us (even cats like fruit.

Diabetes is caused by Too Much Fat.

Fat isn't found much in nature; Carbs are. We run on carbs.
