@thegr8killerpiyush cant go wrong with a fender strat or a les paul but they can be expensive depending on the budget u may wanna look at maybe a knock off brand not the best but still good for a first time guitar...my first electric was a jay turser fender strat knock off cost 150 with the practice amp. lol XD oddly enough it was a really good guitar for that price

@thegr8killerpiyush For the money the Fender Highway 1 strat with the humbucker pickup is a great guitar. It has good pickups, a great neck shape, nitro finish, and are usually nice and light. I think they are a great all around guitar for the money. I think they are around $650 at GC. Also the Gibson Les Paul Junior with P90's are awesome. They are around the same price range.

Dude! I thought I was the only person who had to take the top volume knob off of my strat to play (I kept turning myself down while I was playing).

Did you eliminate one of your tone knobs? I just took my plastic knob off, but, is there a more mundane solution?. like a lock or something for the volume knob?

Or is surgery the only way?

@pfmrokman Took off a tone knob. Hate those things(haha). Did a little surgery but nothing major. Takes about 10 min.

I have a question! I see you have just two instead of three knobs on you guitar. So you removed one of the knobs for the pickup and replaced it with the volume knob. Did you do this because the normal location of the volume knob gets in your way while palm muting? I noticed it myself that it gets in the way but did you do it for the same reason?
