  • Oh how I miss my beautiful country <3

  • Very nice video. I love my city. Some local advice wouldn't hurt.

  • The cemetery is beautiful, but I'm not up for walking through one.

    -___________-

  • Thanks alot!!!!!!! ;-)

  • well done!

  • If you're going to make a video about Buenos Aires you gotta learn how to say it right. It would make a porteño cringe every time you say that in an english accent.

  • @notoriousalex22 It makes me cringe when Americans say Edinburgh or when French people say "Londres" instead of London. But we get over it because they are from different countries and pronounce things differently. I certainly wouldn't go to Mexico City and call it Ciudad Mexico (Thew-dad - Meth-y-co), even though the locals would all say it. I'd say Mexico City, cos it's my language to say that.

  • Why are there so many rude comments? So dumb...

  • I love the music!

  • FYI, for those who are judging this guy's Spanish, each language has its own phonetic rules. Therefore, "cortazar" won't be pronounced like it is in Spanish. It's like pronouncing "tequila" in English with a Spanish-speaking accent. Moreover, the video is in English so I see little need to adhere to Spanish rules of stress.

And as for the so-called racoon, don't shave it off boy. That's a bonafide muff brush that'll keep any woman happy.

  • very nice video! thanks

  • Thank you so much for putting this up!

Is it true all Argentine women look like supermodels? The ones in your video sure seem to.

    Liked and Subbed!

  • As Seen In Starship Troopers

  • Jesus Christ SHAVE THAT RACOON OFF YOUR FACE!

  • What language do they speak in Argentina?

  • @Aydee2020 spanish

  • spanish you ignorant

  • @loombaron How does asking about others' culture ignorant? While there are people so excited to share about their culture, there are some retards up here getting cocky when people from another part of the world ask about Argentina. You should check your brain.

  • Comment removed

  • baaaa bad answer dude.

  • @loombaron you are also ignorant.type in a few words to answer the question.haha

  • @Aydee2020 spanish with sort of italian accent lol, but that's because most of their people are from italian ancestry

  • @Aydee2020 "Castellano Rioplatense" saludos

  • @musicafederico english please

  • this is a great clip as I'm planning on going in August. Great song, too (beginning of part 1).

  • /watch?v=50tk5_hyhEQ

  • It is very nice city FULL OF THIEVES and PICK-POCKETS.

DO NOT USE IN THE SUBWAY.

WATCH YOUR BACK AT ALL TIMES.

    CHOOSE YOUR TAXI DRIVER CAREFULLY.

    WATCH OUT FOR ARGENTINE INFLATION.

WEAR EARPLUGS. IT IS EXTREMELY NOISY.

  • @Avalon400 You're such a lier

  • Heyy here i ve got this video of Puerto Madryn, in the Patagonia, its a cityy where you can see whales from the shore, look at it. youtube.com/watch?v=Loc2lVkcVzc

  • i mean not with all, but there is always people not jsut here, in the world who likes to discriminate, as in EEUU there is people like that too, but as i told you that happend in all the countries, if you have bad luck you'll find bad persons but generalize is bad

  • @gigisandiego96 Argentina is the as racist as EEUU with people from north, example,

you can fin racism in argentina with latinamerican imnigration because almost all of them come to steal or sell drugs, as EEUU is racist with mexican people

  • The Spanish pronunciation is atrocious, but the content is very informative. Just what I was looking for. Thanks!

  • relarerfhuck,

Have you no fear of Jehovah God? Were you not held as a child by your mummy? Why do you mock the poor soldiers who die for their country? They are not the ones who make wars, their gov does, you ought to know this, if you don't, then you are

the King of stupids. Go and bow to your royal leeches.

  • Hahaha, I thought it was funny you kept showing up early to everything---or maybe you were right on time. Latin time, means 1 to 2 hours later. Remember that.

  • Hey, good video! But the song in the background is Brazilian :)

  • ciao is used in other spanish speaking countries.

  • @illuminatijews Yes except in spanish speaking countries they spell it "chau".

  • @illuminatijews is used in almost all the Latin languages, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian, each one with their specifics spelling rules.

  • stay home yanqui asshole

  • @MrTimalex1 Now that was just plain rude.

  • Once we get rid of Bolivians and Peruvians Buenos Aires will be a beautiful city and a good place to live again.

  • @argiemerc I have visited South America and its well known that Buenos Aires is full of hateful racists like argiemerc.

  • @gigisandiego96

Sure, we are all nazis. Shut your stupid mouth up and stay away from our country.

  • @gigisandiego96

And by the way. Take all the bolivian and Peruvian rats, drunks and thieves to live with you. asshole.

  • @gigisandiego96 dude, every where is full of hatefull racists...I believe that in other countries in latin america its overlooked since the hatefull racist may not look white...your generalization and blanket statement makes u look foolish at best. As for Argentinians being racist? lol the name "CHE" always comes to mind, that guy sure was a racist hahah...reminds me of that other racist fuk MLK!!

  • @Sidsix5555 Could you please explain to me how Martin Luther King was racist? Thanks.

  • @emergencyexit16 its called sarcasm.. :)

  • @argiemerc HOW ABOUT SALVADOREAN PEOPLE DO YOU GUYS HATE PEOPLE FROM ELSALVADOR TOO?

  • @IVANISH23

No man, we don't hate anyone. We are just pissed and tired about ignorant and lazy people coming here and taking advantage from our "free" medical system, educations and "support" money from the state. All thanks to our stupid government.

People willing to work hard and honestly is always welcomed.

  • @IVANISH23 whattt ?? are you crazy ?? i have a friend from el salvador he is awesome ! ..great person

  • You ruined this with the music

  • nice!

  • Wow it's a great city I really like to go!!...

  • Wow it's a great city I really like to go!!

  • Argentina,a little piece of europe in america.I so want to go there!

  • those determined to show the city, their worst way, I wonder why be stupid face jajajaj

  • @MyGodzilla99 I visited both last year stayed a month in each. I liked MX a little more only cause it was a lot cheaper, more history and less dog poop! I loved BA but OMG the amount of poop in the streets is crazy!!

  • pretty much everyone in south america saids Chau instead of adios.

  • But why don't the Argentinians do a tour guide (just for us British) to the Belgrano? It would be soo funny, to see the silly bastards who tried to invade the Falklands!! lol

  • @relarerfhjk we have a tour to HMS Shefield, HMS Ardent, HMS Antelope, HMS Coventry, RFA Sir Galahad, RFA Sir tristam, HMS Atlantic Conveyor.

  • @martinbernardo1969 haha do you have a tour to the bottom of the sea, to visit some of the Argentinian scum who we sent for a little swim in 1982?

    You fucking savage

  • I love my country :')

  • Argentina is a beautiful country with the most friendly -kind from around the world.. and delicius food!! believe me!!Buenos Aires is big city with the most european style (modern)on America....For someones how likes beautifull landscapes scenery I would recommend visit states as Mendoza - Neuquen- all Patagonia - Cordoba - Iguazu falls - etc... if You need help with a question about argentina feel free to askme ...cheers

  • check out in your browser--> spanishtime in ba

    SPANISH TIME IN BA!!!

    •Get around Buenos Aires easily!

•Learn Spanish with a professional native teacher

•See a real Argentine home! Classes at the teacher's place or at the student's

    •Personalized short courses

•Preparation for the international exams: DELE and CELU

•Study material and level test included

•Tourist visits, milongas, eating out in parrillas, restaurants and all you would like to enjoy

•Make the best of your stay!

  • @TheExpeditioner alright thanks dude!

  • what the name of this song .was cool

  • This is great... a good quick trip to argentina, I spent a year there on a foreign exchange last year. The language is Castellano, spanish where the LL and Y sound like "sh"... haha I bet you're like, wow that's a lot of help now.

  • @pjohnson20

jaja the Y sounds like SH just in B.A and in other provinces, for example, I'm from Mendoza and we pronunce it like in english Y is Y xD

  • Hey!!! I too was born and grew up in NY, but I come to Buenos Aires every summer (U.S. Summer, Bs As. Winter) to stay with my parents' family precisely in Palermo, I find it soooooo cool that you stayed here!!!! Hope you liked it :)

  • well, im an argentinian (porteño), if you want come back, tell my and i wanna show you the hide part of the city... i dont mean danger zones, i say beautiful places , and i want to show you the argentinian manners, "Tango, Mate, Asado" and others, thanks for come n i hope you liked this nice city.

  • Digging the Camera Obscura tune!

  • @CJoMc Thanks, yeah I had just seen them live, they were kind of stuck in my head.

  • "beautiful buenos erees"

please say you don't pronounce it like that through the whole film

  • Yeeey! I'm from Buenos Aries ;)

  • Wow a great video, you showed arms museum I live 2 streets from there :)

  • Nice video! Greetings from Argentina.

  • You can get pesos anywhere in BA, even use your debit card at any bank ATM machines down there. You can pay with cards in stores, too, but many stores do a credit card surcharge.

  • Not all westafricans are black; for example, Argentinians are brown.

  • The name of the plaza in Palermo is called plaza serrano ;)

  • good video from my city

    congratz & come back!!

  • funny, just a yankie can pay 75(wow) pesos to travel around Palermo "Soho", and just a yankie can say "chau chau" to say "goodbye" because it is used in here just from young girls.

  • are there any german population down there??

  • Sure...from German, Irland, France, etc

  • there are pockets of german population in cordoba in the north and bariloche and villa gesel in the south to name a few... quilmes beer in argentina was founded by a german immigrant....hope that heps

  • @tehrani101 You can find everywhere people with German roods. At the end of my first trip to BA I met a family with my very German familyname. And not only that, one girl in the family had also my two little names (in feminine form). We might bee relatives and I could help them to find their next familymembers in Germany and something about their history. YOu see, thre are not only Germans too, but many surprises waiting for you. I love Buenos Aires and Argentina.

  • @tehrani101

There is, but not so much. If you want to find german people at Argentina you have to go to "La Cumbrecita" or to "Villa General Belgrano"

  • Great video. Argentina is very Cosmopolitan I love this country

  • Nice video!, I think it's really interesting :) I'm a 17 years old girl from Argentina-Buenos Aires and I rly like the video and what you did. You visited nice places here... and I hope you had had a wonderful time :) Take care, and and come here wherever u want!

  • would you teach me how to do tango dance????

nice to hear someone from s.america, you are more than welcome to come to Tehran!

  • Brazilian music in a story on Argentina and Chile? Cool! This song is from Seu Jorge.

  • Spanish/Italian/German

  • is it true there are many armenians in argentina?

  • Yes there actually a football team who calls "Deportivo Armenio".

Dont have actually numbers but yes there are many armenians inmigrants.

  • you are wrong

  • what the fuck?? im argentinian and i can tell you ...NO FUCKING WAY , armenians????? where do you find that information??

  • Comment removed

  • There's a big number of people whit armenian background but most of them are mixed whit other ethnic groups. For example david nalbandian

  • @varoujanx666 yes there is an Armenian decended population, though not in Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is almost entirely comprised of Spanish Italians.

  • Deportivo Armenio, a soccer team, played in 80`in the "big league" (Primera Division)

  • Been to patagonia and I love Argentina it is just an amazing place

  • It's a good video! My Dad is an Argentinian too. Or however you spell. I've never been in Argentina but I always wanted. So thank you for my first look. I will travel there too. DEFINETELY!

  • dad is argentine you

  • the plaza you went to in minute 3, is called plaza serrano, not matanaza or whatever you called it

  • @Dethman5

acctually he is right as well it goes by both names. Many streets and plaza have gone through name changes. depending on what map you use and the time frame. It will be listed as both. As of late, they have even trying creating a Palermo Queens which locals really don't recognize.

  • I thank You so much to talk well about Buenos Aires!!!

I really Thank You :) You can Return when You like :)

    Here we'll be :)

    (sorry for my english)

  • its CHAU not CHAO.

    good video!

  • Aww...Palermo Soho....I rented an apt there in August 09. It was cold...!!! I live in Miami, Florida...so you can imagine how cold I was....I can honestly say that I fell in love with Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • I just landed in the same hostel as you... I have to say it´s nuts man :D great video!

  • haha all of Latin America and Spain says Chau.. not Ciao from Italian, but Chau as in Spanish..

    In Portuguese its Tchau....

etc... it exists in most romance languages.

  • Is not "chau" is "chao"

  • @VarimathrasHighlord Its both, in formal Spanish books to teach foreign students, they use "Chau" but both words sound exactly the same.

  • Great video simple and very intersting. i was there about a year ago and while i was watching your video i remebered all the good times i had there. I was wondering while you where in BA did you ever go to this restaurant called "el palacio de la pizza"? the best pizza i ever had. so as de river el tigre they had this restaurant called el gato blanco.. BA has great food i think BA cattle is one of the best in the world so as the wine

    greetings
