  • Albert Lee - holy smokes!! He is awesome.

  • I love this stuff !!! Just looking at Dave's and Nick's reactions is great !

  • WOW, I always knew Albert Lee was a great guitarist but never appreciated quite how far ahead of everyone else he was!

  • Is that Phil Lynott at 4:00??

  • @airbagabe That's Phil!

  • This is tremendous...why didn't I see this before today?

  • In addition to their album "Seconds Of Pleasure", you can also find Rockpile studio recordings on Nick Lowe's albums: "Pure Pop For Now People" (released in Great Britain with the title of "Jesus Of Cool") and "Labour Of Lust".

  • In addition to their album "Seconds Of Pleasure", you can find Rockpile studio recordings on Dave Edmunds' albums: "Get It" (minus Billy Bremner), "Tracks On Wax 4", "Repeat When Necessary", and "Twangin".

  • Also, during these same sessions, Rockpile recorded the Graham Parker song "Crawling From The Wreckage" for Dave Edmunds' album "Repeat When Necessary". Which probably explains why Parker was there in the studio at the time.

  • Yes, that is Huey Lewis. In 1979, Rockpile recorded two songs that Huey Lewis played Harmonica on: "Born Fighter" (featured in this documentary) for Nick Lowe's album "Labour of Lust" and "Bad Is Bad", (not filmed for this documentary) for Dave Edmunds' album "Repeat When Necessary". Lewis went on to re-record "Bad Is Bad" in a slower mid-tempo version for his album "Sports" circa 1983. The Rockpile version is more of an uptempo rocker. Enjoy!

  • Is that Huey Lewis in there around 3:00 in?

  • Graham Parker, in the house!
