STOP signs are ridiculous. Wastes gas, makes pollution, wear and tear on brakes and then vehicle accelerating from the stop.

Let drivers look as they approach and smoothly cross with out starting up from a dead stop.

Most people crossing saw thathe train was either stopped or moving very slowly and would take a while before getting to the crossing.

Isn't it illegal to pass an activated railroad crossing?! If not, it should be! It should be put in the same catagory as going past a red light at an intersection!

In front of that slowly moving engine, the signals were NOT even activated.

The woman had the best reason. You stop and everyone behind you honks and gets angry because you're holding up traffic and could have continued.
