Yikes this 07-08 team might not have gone to the 3rd round like in 2010 but it was the last truly entertaining Habs team to watch. 08-09 wasn't bad but it was a season from hell. Then Martin stepped in and it's been getting progressively more boring ever since. Makes me long for these days again when the Habs could often score 5-7 goals and dominate on a PP.

The problem was that Montreal didn't trust enough in Streit's potential and they dind't let him play enough. So i'm glad that is now with the Islanders. He is a real leader and soon he'll be the captain!

He actually sucked in the series except for this goal, but then again so did everyone. The sucky Habs PP right now is not much different looking than the sucky one in the PP that Streit is supposedly the engine of. Bah, it's all Kovalev. When he's slumping, not even Streit can kickstart the Habs PP back into the top 5.

Just during the 1rst half of the season, let say until 75% of the season... after he was pretty invisible during PP, especially in playoffs (that goal in the video wasn't in PP, although it was during the playoffs)
