  • nice song... its marked as my fav and i'v been listining to this song since last 3 yrs ... thx

  • Why are they singing it as if they are mourning something? LOL

Sagar Sen's version was so amazing. Although I like Saadi a lot, but sorry to say, this version doesn't even come close :(

But what an amazing song this is! Sometimes I think whether it is possible for a Bangali to love without Tagore!

  • @omarsabih

Yes, only when you learn how to open your blind eyes and the closed-doors of your heart, you'll find you can love and sure you can love a lot of things in life that is beyond Tagore and have nothing to do with him at all.

    Life is larger than Tagore.

But I guess that's not true to a very few people in Bangladesh (not in West Bengal though) and to them Tagore is larger than Life and they act like they eat-shit and breath Tagore every second. What a self-imprisonment!

  • @ffffacjh

Yes, its true that Life is larger than Tagore. But when enjoying Tagore's works one may feel that the man penned his whole life and even the feelings he/she never shared with anyone or never knew that feeling even exists in him/her.Even after so many years after his works its true. Then in a way Tagore is larger than life.

You may know BD better than me but here in WB I can assure you that many of us feel same way.But self-imprisonment is a very wrong word to describe that feeling.

  • @ffffacjh

Once great director mrinal sen said that after reading Tagore he wondered what there is left to tell to the world when every possible feeling he experienced is already described in his work.

  • @ffffacjh By debasing people from across the pond you're proving how low your judgments are and the narrow minded person that you are. You talked about "blind eyes and closed hearts", you should try applying those words in yourself. Yes, some love to value this immortal personality .. Tagores words sang of humanity ..if you can't appreciate that, don't .. We know how to respect other great figures just as well as Tagore..

you can't even write in a respectful way .. how are you any better?

  • Dear eesharc,

Have a look on esnips.com/web/DJTHAKUR before your next worship session.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: One more thing, dont pretend you're the boss around here. I've had enough experience handling bullies like you.

  • @eesharc

Far from being a "boss around here" or a "bully", I'm a mere nobody. I don't go about thumping my chest that my community's equivalent of Tagore is "worshipped" thoughout the world, that Santiniketan is the best university in India, or that my community is among the "richest, most vibrant, and joyous" communities in the world. I don't have the audacity to go around telling people to read literature written in my native tongue.

I'm not that ostentatious, vulgar and uncultured.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats But you do interfere in other ppl's businesss and whine about how 'lame' one of our country's creative geniuses is. Btw, it might have escaped ur notice that this is a Song video and not an 'Anti-Tagore' one.

  • @eesharc I merely said that the music was dull and morose, and jingos like you pounced upon me. Now tell me, my little jingo friend:

Q 1. How is Santiniketan is among the best Universities in India? Which ranking did you use?

Q 2. Do Americans, Brazilians, or Chinese "worship" Tagore? If not, how come he is "worshipped" throughout the world?

Q 3. How do you know that you Bengalis are the "richest, most vibrant, and joyous" communities in the world. Name some communities that are below you.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats 1. Its one of the most well-known n renowned universities in the country in case u dont know.

    2. The British KNIGHTED Tagore. Thats a very big thing. And his works have acquired fame everywhere. And he was also a Nobel Laureate.

    3. Ummm......'BELOW' me??? I never belittled anyone. Go do some research on Bengal if u dont agree wid what I said abt my community.

  • @eesharc

    1. Its one of the most well-known n renowned universities in the country in case u dont know.

I'll repeat my question once again my wannabe-yankee little friend: WHICH RANKING SYSTEM DID YOU USE?

    2. The British KNIGHTED Tagore

Ha ha ha ha! Proves my point. Tell your illustrious pseudo-Yankee "Dad" and "Mom" that Uncle UBJR says that their community needs to stop kissing British rear-end and that nobody really "worships" your Bengali Sir Galahad!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Yankee???? Are you kidding me or wut????

U couldnt identify a wannabe if he walked right under your nose, gentleman.

And yeah, about Tagore being knighted, my parents didnt tell me that.....we learnt it in schol from a Punjabi teacher who goes gaga over Tagore.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats I never used any ranking system. Loads of Calcuttans attend the Santiniketan and tourists visit the university to look and say WOW.

And Tagore was a creative genius. Dont ask me how coz thats what I've been trying to tell u for the past few weeks but ofcourse, your immature brain will never understand that.

    GROW UP

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats 'Rabindrasangeet is bad bcoz it is dull and morose'??? Hey, great logic. Lets apply it everywhere. 'Broccoli isnt healthy because it doesnt taste good.' The new movie sucks coz I couldnt see it.' God I never knew someone could be so damn ignorant Mr. whatever ur name is!

One more thing, all this stuff which you said about classical composers, Allama Iqbal and whatnot in your previous comments, were you actually saying all that or merely copy-pasting from Wikipedia?

  • @eesharc

    ---

One more thing, all this stuff which you said about classical composers, Allama Iqbal and whatnot in your previous comments, were you actually saying all that or merely copy-pasting from Wikipedia?

    ---

Wikipedia my foot. Check my comments even before you barged in into this (ahem) discussion like a trained monkey taught to attack anyone who doesn't gloat over her precious Tagore.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats I'm not trained to do that. Its natural reaction.

  • @eesharc

    ---

'Rabindrasangeet is bad bcoz it is dull and morose'??? Hey, great logic.

    ---

OK, my 40 year old little one, let's here of some music that is "dull and morose" and yet good?

P.S.: Before you pounce upon the keyboard, let me assure you that classical, Hindustani or Carnatic (something which I am 100% sure goes waaaaay above your illustrious "dad" and "mom"'s heads) is anything but dull and morose!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats If you really respect your classical music soooo much then why're you wasting time posting hate comments on a 'dull and morose' video. Go play your sitaar.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: Who's being childish now?

And if you're not impressed with Tagore's music......go read his BOOKS....'Streer Potro' , 'Gora', they will all have you bowled over....:P

  • @eesharc

Have you read Radhakrishnan or Iqbal or Subramanya Bharathi? Give me a reason why I shouldn't read them first.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Who asked you NOT to read them???

Ever heard of the word 'variety'????? Go look it up.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: It appalls me how narrowminded and stupid someone can be

  • @eesharc

    Boo!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: I never ASSUMED a 'Yankee accent', dammit!

I never knew that the occasional usage of colloquial language wasnt ALLOWED on YouTube :P

  • @eesharc

Look kid, you are allowed anything. This was just a passing observation.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: You do know that Tagore was an active member of Brahmo Samaj right???? Don't pretend you do not.

  • It's beautiful!

  • @nafisa125

I will, but I am sure you will understand that I must address accusations directed at me. I only reply back. For example, I am dying out of curiosity how our wise friend chattos123 reached this amazing conclusion that I am from "porkistan".

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Thats exactly whr u seem to be from

  • @eesharc

Run along kiddo and gind yourself a powerpuff girls video. Your "bawa" and "Ma" have been brainwashing you into believing that everything Bengali is superlative. Tell them that there are many many other poets as good as Tagore. Tell them that UglyBanglaJingoRats says they are resorting to child abuse.

  • Typo: find yourself a powerpuff girls video.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats For the record, I'm NOT into Powerpuff girls.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Dude, scream at me all u like but dare you say anything abt my parents...

Trust me, we're a lot more broadminded bunch than closeminded sickos like you who're the reason for India's backwardness.

What're you doing here anyway??? Goo find yourself a Jihad video which is more like you.

  • @eesharc

Your parents have brainwashed you honey. Your beloved "Bawa" and "Ma" are guilty of child abuse. You're stuck into this Tagore thinggy. Next time, watch some powerpuff girls videos next time for variety, Okie? :-P

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats WHAAT?????

CHILD ABUSE??? You've got to be joking right???

Okay, so you're not only a parochial, closeminded, racist scumbag but you've also got a sense of humor.....

One more thing, its 'Baba' not 'Bawa'....n anyway, I dont even call 'em that....they're 'Mom' n 'Dad' for me. :P

  • @eesharc

"Mom" and "Dad"? LOL. No matter how much you pretend to be one, no matter how much of an American accent you try to acquire, you will always remain an inferior Bengali. Oh yes, your retarded "mom" and "dad" have certainly brainwashed you. They told you that Santiniketan is among India's top universities, did they not? That's a LIE. They told you that Tagore is "worshipped" throughout the world, did they not? That too is a LIE!

  • @eesharc Now I better warn you honey, you've been using foul language against me (although it's just a typical Bengali trait.). Trust me, you aren't gonna like it when I become aggressive on you. So I suggest that you better make yourself scarce, just as you promised you would, before things get real bad. Okie? Now be a good girl and find yourself a powerpuff girls or Barney/Baby Bop video. It's a lot better than that silly, dull and morose "Robindro Shongeet".

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Oh yeah??? And who are YOU to judge???

Where're you from anyway??? Afghanistan???? Yeah, I thoughts so.

  • @eesharc

The whole world judges you little girl. Calling your parents "mom" and "dad", spelling the word as "humor" instead of "humour" as in India, does not make your skin any whiter, nor does it make your deep-seated inferiority complex for being a low-class Bengali go away. You are perpetually doomed to be one - despised by one and all. Your language, peppered with the F-words and D___Head says it all, and so does your drooling over everything Tagore. Now run back to your jingo "dad", girl!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats I dont want my skin to be any 'whiter'......I know I'm a Bengali and I'm proud and happy.

The Bengali community is one of the richest, most vibrant and joyous coimmunities in the world. I know I'm a Bengali and I'm proud.

And yeah, I DO prefer American English to British English. So?

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats PROVE that its a lie.

And abt the accent thingy, you couldnt get more politically incorrect.

  • @nafisa125

    ---

    stay away from my video!

go to your own place where you feel better

    ---

One more thing. I do feel perfectly fine here. Thanks for your concern. Technically, the space I am posting is NOT "your video" - the owner is youtube . I am not violating any YouTube's requirements.

  • @nafisa125 No use saying that to a crazy bastard, Nafisa. That's what I've concluded after my encounter with him. :\

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Dude, I aint being offensive bcoz I want to....you stay out of Nafisa's vid and we'll behave ourselves.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats I know that you are a racist, ya i know..most bullshits of all ..may be you r from porkistan, the slum of asia...who sees racism in everything...without knowing anything but arabs and their foot sucking

  • @chattos123

    ---

.may be you r from porkistan, the slum of asia...who sees racism in everything...without knowing anything but arabs and their foot sucking

    ---

On what basis did you arrive at this esoteric conclusion that I am from "porkistan" may I ask, my mentally challenged Bengali friend?

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats hi fen (i supose u re an indian or an pre independent who went there as labourer), u r a exception and exception makes the rule..uff u r real exception why don't u go for some thing amazing like grammy , oskAr or noble, may be u will get one for best antibengali pigs ..any way i loev ur hatered..coz ( i thought u fater or forefatrher have never fought for independence) u r so angryyy and funky....(ufff u r grtttttttttttt indian fucker)

  • @chattos123

    Lern to spel.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: And if you can call Tagore songs morose and boring then I can say the same thing about classical music TOO! SO THERE!!!1

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats: And Tagore is anything but classical music so its no use comparing him to classical composers okay?

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Tagores songs have EMOTION and MEANING which racist, narrowminded assholes like you will never understand. And btw, Tagore composed his OWN taals so what the heck does that tell you???????

  • @eesharc

"And btw, Tagore composed his OWN taals so what the heck does that tell you???????"

90% of Hindustani raga renditions use just the Teental. There are many other taals, but only 5-10 common ones such as Rupak, Chautaal, or for light music, Dadra. It requires centuries for taals to evolve to be compatible with ragas. REAL accomplished maestro rarely compose a new taal (except very rarely like the Sooltaal). That Tagore composed his own "taals" shows his ineptitude, maby egocentrism.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats That does it! Who the fuck do you think you are??? Some accomplished maestro???? People all over the world WORSHIP Tagore and you have no authority whatsoever to judge what's average and what's not. I've learnt Robindrosongeet for like 7 years and I just fell in love with it like many others and if you want to vent out your parochial views then get off YouTube and get yourself a fucking blog.

  • @eesharc

--That does it! Who the fuck do you think you are???

Merely your better (which frankly is not much).

--People all over the world WORSHIP Tagore

You Bengali monkeys are worse than I thought you were. Wake up microbrain, there's a big world out there beyond you pwwecious Bengal - one where Tagore is barely even known, leave alone being "worshipped".

    What astounding stupidity!

--then get off YouTube and get yourself a fucking blog.

    You don't own Youtube, animal!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Doofus, it might have escaped ur notice but ppl here are OBJECTING to ur stupid comments....and DONT pretend as if Tagore is the only artiste i listen to. I listen to LOADS of other stuff....and by the way dude, how old are you exactly???? U dont seem to be anything more than five.

  • @eesharc

    --

Doofus, it might have escaped ur notice but ppl here are OBJECTING to ur stupid comments.

    --

My closed-minded, uninformed friend, it might have escaped your notice but all those who have "objected" to are foul-mouthed bigots much like you who drool over the "Robindro Shongeet" simply because Tagore was a Bengali too.

  • -

DONT pretend as if Tagore is the only artiste i listen to. I listen to LOADS of other stuff.

    -

On one hand, this lowly Bengali beast claims that he listens to "LOADS of other stuff", and yet he also said "I've learnt Robindrosongeet for like 7 years".

Furthermore, this Bengali Einstein also claimed:

    -

you can call Tagore songs morose and boring then I can say the same thing about classical music TOO!

    -

Obviously the subtleties of classical are too much for his Bengali brain to handle.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats First of all, I'm not a 'he', I'm a 'she' and dude, posting hate comments made of herculean words is not going to hide the fact that you're a crazy bastard who's got nothing better to do than spreading violence n hetred all over the Net...

I dunno ur age but I'm 13 and MUCH more broadminded n liberal than you.

And yes, I HAVE learnt Tagore songs for 7 years okay???

  • @eesharc

More pathetic accusations. First of all, claiming "broadminded n liberal" you are ain't gonna make one helluva difference. Here is what you wrote:

    ------

People all over the world WORSHIP Tagore

    ------

That is a VERY childish comment I've seen in YT. When you step outside of your pwwecious Bengali cocoon, you'll be surprised to see how insignificant your ilk is. No those aren't "herculean" words, just normal ones. I've neither "spread violence", nor used foul language like you.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats You DIDNT use foul language?????

    You WEREN'T offensive??????

Just ask everyone else who's commented on this vid till now to see how disgustingly offensive you are being. Anyone.

  • @eesharc Here is a sampler of your dazzling repertoire of colorful words: --- Who the fuck do you think you are??? --- --- apart from stone-deaf assholes like you. --- --- who the HELL told you to compare Gurudev to that whiny tub of lard Bappi --- Please tell me where I used foul language.
  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats You used so much offensive language that I don't even know where to start.

And by the way, I have better things to do thann making a list of all the abusive words a narrowminded, parochial dickhead has used in his entire life.

  • @eesharc

    --

a narrowminded, parochial dickhead has used in his entire life.

    --

You Bengalis can NEVER change. No matter where you go, be it Kolkata or California, you creeps will keep hurling abusive gutter language, keep bragging ad nauseam about all Bengali "achievements" such as Tagore being "worshipped" all over the world (LOL!), and in general, make a complete ass of yourself.

No wonder people from most South Asian ethnicities have had it with you all! Shame!

  • @eesharc

Oh and if you are indeed a 13 year old girl, why does it say age: 48 in your channel, Ms. 'broadminded n liberal'? ;-o

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats None of ur business

  • @eesharc

Riiight, so why do you have to tell me your (ahem) age, when I'm clearly not interested in neither your YT-claimed age, nor your real biological age.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats I just wanted to point out that even a fairly immature adolescent like me is a lot more wise and liberal than uneducated scumbags like you.

  • @eesharc

    ----

me is a lot more wise and liberal than uneducated scumbags like you.

    ----

A little modesty might suit you better. No matter how much you thump your chest about how "liberal" you are, the fact remains that this is what you said:

    ----

People all over the world WORSHIP Tagore

    ----

That is a CLEAR reflection of how insular you are. Which is not surprising, given how much adult Bengalis gloat over every single Bengali "achievement".

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats Dont believe me???? The listen to this....and listen up good, and yeah, consult Wikipedia incase you dont believe me...

Tagore not only composed songs but he was a singer, poet, playwright, novelist educationist, dress designer, artist, model.....and the list goes on...

Who created Shantiniketan, one of our best universities?? Which guy actively took part in politics during freedom movement and was much respected by his people???? Who is knwn as 'Gurudev'?

  • @eesharc

I thought you had just proclaimed that you had "concluded" your "encounter" with me. What happened? Verbal diarrhea is hard to control, isn't it?

    ---

Dude, I aint being offensive bcoz I want to....you stay out of Nafisa's vid and we'll behave ourselves.

    ---

An assumed Yankee accent won't help you cover up your true ethnicity, no matter how hard you try.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats

    --

Who created Shantiniketan, one of our best universities??

    --

    1. Historically, it was named after a local murderer, a dacoit called Bhuban. Of course it became prominent because of the Central government largess bestowed upon it. In spite of that, it never became a top-quality Indian university EXCEPT IN THE EYES OF YOU CLOSED-MINDED BENGALIS.

Check: wwwDOT indiauniversity DOT me SLASH top-rankings

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats He was a creative genius, man....how long does it take to understand a simple thing???

But ofcourse, I should have remembered you're mentally retarded.

  • @eesharc

    ---

But ofcourse, I should have remembered you're mentally retarded.

    ---

That would be the person who told you that Shantiniketan is one of the "best" universities. LOL!

My guess is that the same person brainwashed you into believing that Tagore was "worshipped" throughout the world.

Look kid, you're 13 years (assuming you didn't lie) which is why I am not being aggressive towards you. Don't push me.

  • @eesharc

    ---

Which guy actively took part in politics during freedom movement and was much respected by his people???

    ---

Let me guess .... Bhagat Singh, Vallabhbhai Patel, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, .... oh wait! Surely you don't mean that sycophant poet who composed a poem to praise the British monarch George V ... the same parochial poet who composed doggerel that became the national anthem of ANOTHER country, do you???

  • @eesharc

    ---

and by the way dude, how old are you exactly???? U dont seem to be anything more than five.

    ---

My age is none of your business. But you're the one who claimed the following gem:

    ------

People all over the world WORSHIP Tagore

    ------

If I am 5 years old, then what are you? A 48 year fetus still ensconced inside your mother's uterus, waiting to be yanked out? That actually would provide a biological basis for your abysmal ignorance, wouldn't it, ignoramus?

  • @eesharc

"Tagores songs have EMOTION and MEANING which racist, narrowminded assholes like you will never understand."

Even stupid Bappi Lahiri songs have meaning. OTOH, very deep raga renditions do NOT contain meaningful sentences. Try listening to the late Fariduddin Dagar's alaps. It is all meaningless - just random syllables of "Narayana". Ergo, REALLY superlative songs do not have to piggy-back ride on "meaning" to appeal to the listener. The deep, sonorous melody is good enough!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats And who the HELL told you to compare Gurudev to that whiny tub of lard Bappi Lahiri?????

  • I am not a Bengali - but I can proudly say that there has not been any poet as Rabindranath in the modern era in any country who wrote and composed such beautiful soul stirring songs, the words are as imortant and the music and difficult to sing. I am saying' modern era' as I have composers such as Thyagaraja in mind who were also composers and song writers.

  • @karunakarprocessengg

Tagore barely qualifies as a song writer even by modern era standards.

Thyagaraja is undoubtedly one of the greatest song-writers India has produced, but let us not forget Sant Tukaram, Jayadeva, Kabir, and of course Valmiki and Vyasa.

  • @UglyBanglaJingo Dude are u like RETARDED????

You have to be quite exceptionally narrowminded and conservative to bad-mouth one of the greatest sons of India who's contributed so much to the world.

I suggest you should stop posting sick, racist comments on a public portal and go listen to Miley Cyrus or some such American slut which is probably 'music' for you.

  • @eesharc

No you idiot, you're the one that's both intellectually challenged and a bigot. "Greatest son's of India" my ass.

Furthermore, who said anything about Miley Cyrus, you nincompoop? Just because I said that "Robindro Shongeet" was dull and boring (which it is), does not automatically make me a fan of "American sluts", you blithering jackass.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats But YOU'RE the blitering jackass, man....if Tagore was so bad then people all over the fucking world wouldn't respect and worship him with such intensity awright???? Everyone loves him apart from stone-deaf assholes like you.

  • @eesharc --But YOU'RE the blitering jackass You may find that the word is "blitHering". --if Tagore was so bad then people all over the --fucking world wouldn't respect and worship him --with such intensity aw WORSHIP??? AWE??? Typical closed-minded Bengali attitude to describe Bengalis in superlative terms. Sorry to break your heart but that ain't the case. --apart from stone-deaf assholes like you Again typical Bengali culture (or lack thereof) highlighted by your colorful language.
  • Disgusting singers. Now I can understand why there was need of Biswa Bharti monitoring.

  • @KarArp

Forget Hindustani, Carnatic, or Dhrupad styles, this "Robindro Shongeet" is inferior to Hindu bhajans, Sikh Gurbanis or even Indian folk music.

In fact this music is so boring, I'd rank it along with the crass Bollywood singing that is accompanied by the hero and the big bosomed heroine prancing around like apes.

  • BTW I find it hilarious when Americans accuse Indians of misogyny and caste discrimination in one breath, while praising their (male, upper class) president and cursing rednecks and trailer trash in the next! I can never get enough of the West. :D

Yes, the kind of people you call "trailer trash" have been important political leaders here in India. Even Pakistan has had more lady heads of state than America.

  • Nah, you guys are mostly making it up or quoting made-up sources. Indian life isn't nearly as miserable as you make it out to be. Nowadays, most Hindus reject the caste system altogether. It's not an essential article of Hindu doctrine. It's only found in texts of secondary importance like the Laws of Manu, which is more of a law text than a religious text.

  • @nactan

    ---

Nowadays, most Hindus reject the caste system altogether. It's not an essential article of Hindu doctrine.

    ---

    Bullshit on both counts.

Caste discrimination exists everywhere in India. Dalits are barely allowed to enter temples. Inter caste marriages are very rare. Caste is ubiquitous even in politics.

Who says that caste is secondary to Hinduism? Why did Drona make Ekalavya cut off his thumb? What was so shocking about Harishchandra's masquerading as a chandaala?

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats

    --

    Bullshit on both counts.

    --

Yeah? You live in India, do you? I've been a Kolkatan all my life and have never witnessed this. Every Hindu I've spoken to has told me the caste system is obsolete. With more insistence the more religious they were.

  • cont: Hinduism is a philosophical religion unlike Abrahamic ones. Theses are constantly accepted and rejected. I think you're deriving hasty generalizations from isolated incidents in Indian backwaters. I'm a Muslim, by the way, and Tagore belonged to a Brahmi faith, a school of Hinduism.

  • @nactan

"Philosophical religion" my foot! The vast majority of Indians believe in a "Bhagwan" just like the Abrahamic ones and are hardcore fundies, not all that different than Pakistani/BDeshi Muslims. A couple of years ago, the Geological Survey of India proposed dredging the Adams Bridge, a natural geological formation. The entire Hindu community whined about it saying that is was built by Blue God Rama. GSI had to retract that statement!

  • @nactan What happened to the painter M F Hussein? He was forced to emigrate to the middle East, wasn't he?

If you claim that Hinduism, try entering a Hindu temple as a Muslim, come back and post your experience here!

  • @UglyBanglaJingoRats

I have a bitter experience while I wanted to enter a mosque in hydrabad, India/ May be the guy who stopped me entering was an illiterate.any way I forgive him. I want to say that no matter who we are one day we all will end up in same place. My question is why can't we unite as a human being, before we die ?

  • @MrBhadury I'm not making excuses for Muslims. The Abrahamic religions stink.

  • Tagore was a god.

Not a Buddha, but most definitely a Deva!

    Wagner is another one.

  • Only Wagner's powers come nowhere near Tagore IMHO.

  • Oh, Congrats to Nafisa on her singular act of cowardice by banning my other nick. I've never used offensive language, unlike those who attacked me. You just can't handle my straight talking. Shame!

  • nafisa125..can u please upload more of such gems..what a amazing composition....and can some one translate also .thanks alot.

  • @greatProphet1

Look retard, you keep bringing that bitch Mayawati into this debate when it is 100% irrelevant, maybe because you have a crush on her.

Go to Bihar where the Ranveer Sena Bhumihars lynch the lower castes, or to Orissa where Dalits are not allowed into the temple, or to villages in India where the headmaster beats low caste school kids for drinking from the same pot as "upper" caste kids.

  • @greatProphet1

Furthermore, don't give that bull that you want to make Hinduism "casteless". By glossing over caste-related atrocities, you are turning a blind eye to their oppression.

Hindus are very caste conscious. Yes they are, there is absolutely no denying that fact. Hindus are also highly color-conscious. Seen the marriage ads asking for "fair skinned" brides?

  • A genetic study in the year 2000 in Andhra Pradesh state of India found that the upper caste Hindus were closer relatives to Eastern-Europeans than to Hindus from lower castes.[22] However, a study conducted by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2009 (in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT) analyzed half a million genetic markers

  • across the genomes of 132 individuals from 25 ethnic groups from 13 states in India across multiple caste groups.[23] The study asserts, based on the impossibility of identifying any genetic indicators across caste lines, that castes in South Asia grew out of traditional tribal organizations during the formation of Indian society, and was not the product of any Aryan invasion and "subjugation" of Dravidian people.[24]

  • @greatProphet1 so?!

  • U see that in orissa dalits not permission to go to temple. Its hurt me but as a person duty in chattishgar never able to help them as well as some congress leader also claim they r higher cast and not want to debate with me as I m dalits this false hood of mis interpretation of higher cast make the relegion more complicated and hard for us to help all,We find way that all come together,U know theoritically we establish many things but in practical its very hard.

  • @UglyBanglaJingoScum Heh, never heard of that last one. Where? I've never seen it happen in Bengali villages.

  • @nactan

Because Bengali villagers cannot place ads in English language newspapers or Shaadi dot com, silly!

  • because we never recognise muslim and christan r the people of India .They r outsider, like some one try to capture my house and raped my wife.We hindus never forgive them wat they done in last 1000 yrs.

  • Just blast bom all over india and spying for Pakistan.

  • You pathetic, savage, murderous, odious, saffron scum, why don't you all go get yourself castrated and remove yourself permanently from the human gene pool?

From 2001 to 2010 approx.20000 hindus killed in bangladesh and 30000 hindu woman raped by ur brother decender of ur so called intellectual muslim.

  • @greatProphet

Just look at you. Having lost the debate you are now flooding youtube with post after post of cut & pastes, none of which even remotely contradicts anything that I've said. None of it has any bearing upon the subject matter that we are debating.

  • @greatProphet1

--And for ur kind information muhammad killed all the

--musician of Macca as its the sign of idolitary.

So he was a military commander. What's your point you idiot? When was I defending Islam or Mohammed?

You saffrom zombies are programmed to label anyone who disagrees with you as Muslim or "pseudosecular". Bastards!

  • @greatProphet1

--First know that Indian drupadia sangeet first come from vedas not quran.

When did I deny that you trishuldhari retard?

    Dhrupad is derived from"Dhruva Pada".

In the Alap in Dhrupad a chant to Narayana is sung.

Except you don't really understand Dhrupad or Khayal. That much was clear when you said that Vilayat Khan and Ravi Shankar were brothers-in-law.

You keep extolling Hindustani classical music just to argue your case about your precious religion.

  • We saffron people love all people of India. We so called owr brother as "Amritasya Putra" and love all different culture of Hinduism and all its follower. We never said some one is better than some one we say all culture come together and make new culture for hindu so we condem any language of India can not be make more official than other which the pseudosecular done.

  • Haridas's compositions may be classed as Vishnupadas. Even his prabandhas that do not refer to Krishna have come to be known as Vishnupadas, perhaps because of the mystic source of his music but also because they are musically constructed in a manner similar to dhrupads. He is also said to have written tirvats, ragamalas and other forms. There are around 128 compositions attributed to him, of which eighteen are philosophical (siddhanta pada) and a hundred and ten devotional (keli mala).

  • He describes Radha and Krishna's sporting beautifully:

Two beams of light are playing -

    Unique their dance and music.

Ragas and raginis of heavenly beauty are born,

The two have sunk themselves in the ocean of raga.

Swami Haridas belonged to the tradition of madhura bhakti - Adoration expressed in conjugal imagery. Haridas's theology embraces not merely the Love of Krishna and Radha but also the witnessing of the Love, a state of mind called rasa .

  • In an ecstatic condition of trance he sings of the play of Krishna among the bowers of Vrindavan. More than Krishna, Radha was the central personality of all his poems. He says;

Who knows of the quality of things more than Radha?

If anyone has any knowledge at all, it is by her grace.

None knows the beauty of raga, tala and dance as Radha does.

  • The word "raga" first occurs in the Brihaddeshi of Matanga (circa second century AD[2] or 5th to 7th century[3]), where he describes it as "a combination of tones which, with beautiful illuminating graces, pleases the people in general". The term raga was defined by Joep Bor of the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music as "tonal framework for composition and improvisation."

  • Again Its the real hindu Narendra Modi take revange against Muslim. We r proud of him.
