@foryourhead i'm no teapartier. and as proof I could summarize all 27 amendements to the consitution. However, the first two guarantee the rest. As under siege our rights find themselves, in the current parlence, in a time where gay rights activists to militia groups are classified as terrorist organizations-albiet having commited no crime, certainly gives more than just cause for Americans to be alarmed. Your attempt to lambast those who are concerned about their rights is lame.

@MrJlee2a, I'm a lawyer for a law firm in D.C. and we are working on gun legislation as I type this. they are mostly firelarms restrictions which are necessary. We are actively working out ways to break down the Second Amendment. We don't think this past of the Constitution is necessary any more. .

He opens talking about how it was under Carter and goes upbeat from there.

Actually, Carter was still President when this song came out. It came out in the aftermath of the Hostage Crisis at the American Embassy in Iran and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
