The guitar needed a player like Vicente...it wanted to feel all passion of the flamenco guitar player...I think this guitar said.."do not leave me Vicente..please don;t go....I need your fingers..."
hahaha... I really love what steve cropper said!!!... "the number one reason why the guitar is the number one instrument. it's beacause if you're good at it, you can get all the girls" hahaha... YEAH!
Only flamenco guitarists are technically able to play other styles. That's one of the reasons why I love flamenco not just as a music but as a culture and tradititon... . .It's so unique and beautiful...
I remember in early 80's Eddie's once mentioned Montoya influence in mag interview.... but Wo! Joe with long Hair? hehe that was long ago also. Most of all Vecente is awesome.
Vicente Amigo was struming better on the electric guitar than the other guy. A electric guitarist can never play a classical guitar, electric guitar is piss easy but classical guitar requires stronger hands and you cant use a pick otherwise it will sound shit.
These electric guitarists can never play a normal guitar. Technically they do very little to produce those sounds, give them a classical guitar and they wouldn't know what to do with it.
@rafourasta Nope not really. Though I've seen an interview with Paco saying that he really likes the electric guitar. He also said he broke a nail on it and hasn't played it since. That was an old interview though. PEACE.
Thats Steve Cropper. Hes played with alot of R&B, Blues, and Gospel artists. From Aretha Franklin to B.B King. He is known as one of the best rhythm guitarist in the R&B school ala Curtis Mayfield and Jimi Hendrix

I love Vicente Amigo´s playing, but I have to say that his attempt on playing the electric guitar was horrible, sounded like shit, no feel for it, is a different technique!!!
