Although I didn't get to see any comparison to the SD DVD version, I will definitely be buying the Bluray discs if the price is right.

This is definitely a show that I want to see in HD and that can't be said for every tv show because sometimes it just isn't that important. But the TNG episodes have somewhat muddy look to them and I'd love to see them in crisp HD, can't wait!

Seems like the first two seasons of TNG didn't look so great, while the rest of TNG/DS9/VOY look pretty good.

I'm certainly curious, but I'm a little unsure about if they really are going to have to redo all the visual effects.

I could swear the first two seasons had kinda a pinkish, odd color look to them though.

Certainly some stuff just gets tossed onto DVD/blu-ray, while other work is handly preciously and restored and treated like a king.

If you look at the first and last TNG episodes though, I think you'll notice a big difference.

Ah well, anyways. It's good of them to do this so they can do good HDTV broadcasts of TNG and also for download and streaming the show in HD.

TNG is on such an incredible amount on TV........

Pretty much everyone agrees TNG improved in season 3 in basically everyway I guess. Oh yeah, and every single TNG fan must see the flauting danger video.

Everything changed for the 3rd season. Better costumes, better lighting, better production values, better stories, better doctor, better Riker's face, same Geordi's overacting...
