  • the beginning part of the song reminds me of ice ice baby by vanilla ice

  • This is really quite unhelpful.

  • pics just dont do it dude. a video of you actually making the folds would be 10x better

  • could it be possible to fold this, but with something a little more rectangular? like a dollar bill?

  • what is a miura ori

  • Thanks, very instructive.

  • i love the song!

  • kewl i made it boss =)

  • Awesome! I'm glad I could help. :-)

  • Do you think that you could do the tesselation but quarter size, so there would be 4 times more patterns on it

  • Yes. You can keep squaring the folds. I have taken it down to 2 to the power of 12, or 2 more passes. After that, the paper does not maintain the precision needed to make the tesselations.

  • The name "Miura-ori" is a general term for any member of a class of concave polyhedral surfaces. Within this class exists a number of variations, often referred to as degrees of corrugation. The first appearance of "Miura-ori" can be traced to a technical paper of a civil engineering society in 1970 (Koryo Miura, n.d.).

  • There's an easier way to do it without having to fold it diagonally in both directions...

  • Yes, I've seen that done. I've found the method lacks precision. The results may be functional, but it looks sloppy.

  • awesome clear an easy 2 understand 5/5

  • Beautiful, instructional video!

  • kewl video...awesome art...
