  • I can't get over just how incredibly good this song is. This is straight into my top 10 of all time - of all styles.

  • What an inspiring song - we owe our ancestors alot! Yup and brought a tear to this eye too!

  • Tobin is a REALLY tall dude. I'm 6'3" and I really had to look up at that dude when I got to meet them. He makes that Gibson SG look like a toy!

  • Very nice. Flatfoot 56 is totally up there with Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. Amazing band, amazing song!

  • did anyone stop to think they did this in a church just because it would be a cool background? Like what's with all the insesitivity?

  • pecker up, working class heroes!

  • why they are playing in a fucking church?

  • @Alcoolicahc Maybe because they're a Christian band?

  • @ohcalcutta81 piggod they must die

  • @Alcoolicahc oh now that's just messed up!

  • @Alcoolicahc

Because they all hold deep christian beliefs? Fuck, they started off playing in a church off Archer.

  • This song always chokes me up

  • New favorite Flatfoot song.

  • Miss these guys! My hubby used to tour with them back in the day. So glad to see them rise to the top, they deserve it.

  • Flatfoot 56 is just amazing!

  • I know it's cliche to say that songs like this get me through the day, but I can remember many a time when I listened to these guys and was encouraged to do what was right and work heard. "like the water reflects the face, so the heart reflects the man" - Same Ol Story by Flatfoot 56.

  • ya he is a substitue when he is not touring he only lives a few blocks from my school ive been to some of his shows and i talk to him in school to about what its like to tour and he also chose to be a sub because he likes doing it

    I love this band! ;)

  • only 13,000 views? ridiculous! the world would benefit greatly from more bands like this

  • @plasmus123 You are so damn right! :D

  • @plasmus123 I guess it's because they don't make very mainstream music.

I really like the more underground/alternatice music, like Massive Attack <3

  • @plasmus123 plese lets keep flatfoot please we all hafta spread their message so we can keep them as our own lol j/k

  • @plasmus123 Best band at the Warped tour this year.

  • @plasmus123 i saw more videos of flatfoot 56 deleted which were watched allot.

Man this is a nice song! and nice video.

  • Their music's pretty okay i guess. But the fact that they're a part of this criminal religious cult called christiany sucks big time.

  • @Anodynede but it'd be fine if they were Muslim right?

  • @Anodynede Criminal cult? Just because there are people out there that take chrstianity far enough to be criminal or cultlike does not mean all of us are like. We as christians are simply called to love God and others.

  • Aaaaaaaaa mulek ..

ate q enfim punk cristão de verdade ...

    ;D

  • Awesome job Eric and band!!!

  • Chiago's greatest export Flatfoot 56

  • this video is over welming and modivational

  • i want the singers coat.

  • @hobitsize I want his mutton chops

  • This is a great song.

  • See you on FlevoFest. Holland.

  • Hey! I know the producer and cinematographer of this video.

  • A christian Dropkick Murphys! How cute.

  • @Lukeypoo91 i didnt even know they were christian until today. they still have good music, so i dont know why your saying it like the fact that there beliefs are different then yours ruins the fact that they make good music. if you dont like em, then leave, no one needs your negativity.

  • does anyone know where to find the entire lyrics to this song? I'm trying to learn it play and sing it.

  • became friends with these guys a couple of years ago, awesome bunch of guys! hung out and had a bible study with them after their Harrisburg show in PA. Nothing like spending time with Flatfoot 56 in the word in a back alley behind a bar til two oclock in the morning! Total blessing!

  • seeing this band live is an experience i will not forget. they and the fans truly showed me that there is family and happiness for all of us despite the bullshit of everyday.

  • that song and video reminds me how america was made by hard workin truithful americans hew seen value in every step of there jurny god bless america

  • Saw these guys at Warped Tour yesterday in Milwaukee. Amazing show! and really nice guys

  • i find that the bagpipes make it unique and slightly addicting

  • get rid of the bagpipes no offence

    just not my style

and youve got a great band!

  • These guys are on my top bands to listen to with dropkick/f,flogging molly, cock sparrier,The Business, Cro-Mags, Sham 69 etc...I first saw these guys at a church long time ago in Savannah I was going through a tough time in my life and saw them kinda uplifted my spirits. I know we "skinheads" shun the idea about religion about entering our culture. However these guys are the nicest folk your ever going to meet. They work hard and deserve what ever success they may get.

  • Great Video. Freedom is not free and neither is education, food or a roof over your head. I am thankful for the sacrifices of my parents and their parents before them. Thanks

  • What an amazing band. I saw them at the Warped tour and they blew everyone else out of the water, well maybe not Pennywise.

  • Outstanding song!!!! Street Dogs and Flatfoot 56 comin to denver babay!!

  • wheres the bagpipes?

  • they guys Rock

  • @koshmar790 Oh... I can imagine things much much worse. Killing innocent children, Godless leaders, unfaithfulness, dishonesty and backstabbers... just to name a few. ;)

  • @koshmar790 How about your grammar?

  • @himansku This just made my day. xD Thank you. :3

  • good Video

  • I saw these guys last night, and all i have been doing today listening to their songs on here. Its wonderful to see a band who plays music for music's sake, not for stupid bullshit. God bless these guys, wonderful stuff.

  • What a band, what a great song. Their new album is their best so far

  • Flatfoot on blankTV!?! so awesome. these guys rock

  • This song is great, inspiring.

  • awesome

  • Either his voice is massivley auto-tuned or he's got a fucking strong accent. Or both.

  • @iopegivvyi I'm pretty sure it's a mega Scottish accent. But I don't know.

  • @superkid5647isweird there all from chicago. its just the way his voice sounds. i had a talk with him after a show my old band played with them.

  • @PowerHouseProd Thanks man. That's so awesome

  • @iopegivvyi youre deff wrong. hes not scottish and they never use auto tune

  • @iopegivvyi He doesn't even have an accent actually. Well, besides a Chicago one. And I don't think they ever use autotune at all because he sounds like this live.

  • @katiehyena

Its sounds more Irish than anything.

  • @trippytrucker He does that because Flatfoot is obviously a Celtic band. If he didn't try to do that accent it wouldn't sound as good/authentic. I'm pretty sure they are Polish actually. Fake accent or not, there is no denying their music is excellent and that they are great guys.

  • My old band played a show with these guys once last fall. I stuck around after their set and got to talk to some of them. Super cool dudes.

  • Wow what a Nice clip! I saw the band live a night in Montreal... It was amazing! But that clip, and the message... heh and it remember me my job.

  • Born to a fighter on the deep South side. A sweaty blue collar, but you didnt mind. The cost of a family meant your blood and tears. Fourteen hours in a world of gears. Your daughter, your son, the joy of your life. Theyre all that remain of your cherished wife. You bore the weight with a steadfast air. The world around you just didnt care. Courage, your name means something to me. These heroes, they last through time. Courage, your name means something to me. A champion of the daily grind.

  • Not because of a movie or a magazine, but because of your example you inspired me. Sacrifice in the midst of pain. You bring a tear to my eye when I hear your name. You hit the beaches in the Second World War. You carried it with you when you came home. Everyday was a courage fight. A colored soul in a world of white.

  • @DrMaxwell Tobin subs at your school?! thats awesome!

  • @TheTylerMEmond ya he is a substitue when he is not touring he only lives a few blocks from my school ive been to some of his shows and i talk to him in school to about what its like to tour and he also chose to be a sub because he likes doing it
