10 Karaoke Commandments

I break so many of these on a regular basis...

* It is a singing contest (anything less than a standing ovation is failure)

* Be heroic (but don't fail)

* "Moves" are for people who can't sing

* Sing songs I would never play at a party (the goal is to be better than the original)

* I am better than the Beatles (and their songs will still be shit when I'm 64)

* Musical breaks are a prime opportunity to work the crowd - no dead air
