  • I love Roran! especially in Eldest he is so badass.

  • Good review, btw

  • I read the first three, I need to pick up the fourth. I should probably just start over... o_O

  • i love the inheritance cycle but got no farther than eragon i saw the movie after i read book 1 and the movie absolutely tainted my view of eragon. With harry potter and lotr i loved the movies and enhanced my view on the great book series. If u want a great trilogy read the hunger games which is an absoulutely amazing series though the ending of the last book i felt so disapointed too many deaths.

  • @joesnap10 I plan on reading The Hunger Games series before long. In response to what you said, I recommend you read the Inheritance Cycle. Trust me, you'll get over the movie very quickly; the rest of the series is NOTHING like the movie. And to be truthful, with the exception of the ending, I didn't think the movie was that bad. It was the fact that they changed EVERYTHING at the end and rushed through it that pissed me off.

  • Your a cool dude, keep it up

  • dude, i like you, u are cool

  • black people can read?

  • @WlNDMlLL Rednecks can too?

  • @DecKrash no, I don't believe rednecks can read.

  • @DecKrash Good video btw. I was pretty young when Eragon came out. I loved it, then. I loved Eldest. I enjoyed Brisingr but by that time my library had expanded beyond Harry Potter and I began to look at Paolini's writing more critically. Of course, Inheritance came out fairly recently and I was expecting what I experienced throughout my childhood. But, that's just it, he still writes like he's a 15 year old. Had he written the series faster there wouldn't be issues.

  • Funny thing is, I was writing my first novel at around the same time Paolini was. He's only four years older than me, so I feel like I'm a part of the same reading generation (and writing generation). I don't think he's fantastic, especially since I read all of the same stuff he read - I have to disagree that he's not derivative. But I still think it's fairly entertaining, if not really great or anything.

  • Glad you started this. I may start my own soon.
