@SisterAnnieCharles - Me too, they are fast healers, aren't they? :) That was the cliff-hanger of all cliff-hangers, I think when they filmed it, everyone thought there was a deal in place with Prospect Park to bring the show back as an internet show. Did you know that John, Starr, Blair and Todd will be on GH in February? I'm excited and have no idea what they'll be doing! :)

This would have rocked SO hard it they'd have left it alone as is. If only Jessica would have been Roxy's real daughter. I mean the actor they got for Rex STILL is a splitting image for BOTH the Jessica actresses. Visually it's SO satisfying to have Rex & Jessica be siblings. But no. Pity.

Wasn't that a great scene with so much rich dialogue? -- you hang on every word. Characters don't really say anything meaningful in today's shows, it's just blah, blah, blah about nothing. What happened to daytime drama?

You said it! It blew me away that 17 years later they were able to get the original Mitch and Alison actors back, thus being able to show flashbacks. Vicki and Jess were already there. Too clever a storyline that ADDED to the show's rich history! I started watching in 2001 (Nat had just arrived) and followed it through till late 03 or early 04. After this ended, the show became to "kidsy" for me, adding way to many new, boring kid characters at once. I eventually quit watching...

how funny! I started watching it around that time too (summer of 2001) and I stopped after they killed off Jen's character. I was NEVER a fan of them recasting Jessica. Erin had been with the show for 13 years, since she was a child, which made the role sacred. But nooo, it wasn't enough that they had another daughter of Vicki's, but they had to recast Jessica. I am sure Erin would have come back a year or two later. Just wanted a break after 13 years.
