Honestly, Enjolras is a very difficult part because there's some range involved but there also needs to be a lot of strength to the voice. Since Valjean and Marius are more of main characters than Enjolras...he's generally not too well cast in high school performances. By school standards, he's pretty good here.

valjean was alright, marius was TERRIBLE, cosette was AMAZING, eponine was BAD, enjorlas was ok, thenardiers was ok, i couldn't hear madame...i think that's it for principals....
the emsemble overall was very good. the end of the song was great!
p.s. i wish i could hear cosette more...she was amazing...that terrible voice of marius just HAD to cover her.
I thought the Marius was actually pretty good, the problem I had was with Enjolras. Way to take the tempo waaaayyyyyy too slow and have no passion in what you're singing! Valjean was freaking awesome.
I thought the Valjean had a slightly more operatic voice than Colm, which I think sounds even cooler ;) Don't get me wrong, Colm is still the best, but this was GREAT stuff!
@ForeverBloomingRose yikes...you must have relatives in the chorus. Valjean has a good voice but is not on the same planet as Colm Wilkenson. You lose any credibility with a comment like that.

Oh how lucky will I be when I get to see you guys in April doing this WHOLE show. THIS IS AWESOME...but then I knew you all had what it takes. After Beauty - this is the only thing that you COULD do even though we're talking apples and oranges in different show. BUT this is so awesome. Looking forward to seeing you all do this soon. Javert was very good- So was Valjean.
Bad casting for Marius and Enjolras though. Not that their voices were not good but they didn't fit the characters.

While this is by no means bad, but all this hype is ill-placed.
Marius and Enjolras were extremely weak.
Eponine was good, but didn't punch her sound at all, and Cosette could barely be heard over Marius' shouting.
Javert and ValJean are pretty good, but I hear no trace of Colm here.
Please be honest whilst reviewing, this is nowhere near professional, but much better than 80% of other high schools.

Their singing and acting is/was amazing, it's really hard to believe that they're in high school. Huntsville High did an amazing job with the play! =3
