The weather outside is frightful...oh no, it's balmy!

I love the snow as long as I don't have to go to work during a storm.

I haven't tried the online postage. I keep saying I'm going to try it, but then I end up going to the post office. lol

@SinisterLadybug I think that time, it would have been easier to just go to the post office.. I love using it though and having them come to my door to pick up the packages. It sure saves time during holidays when you have lots of packages to mail.. Usually, that is! haha

Anytime you want conversation ... call me! lol Best part about living in the warm weather is you can go visit the snow and get your fix and come back to the warm! Gotta love that! The hustle and bustle of the season (month of Dec) is what makes it fun. Make a list, check it twice and then decide who's been naughty or nice ... lol Have a hot toddy (very calming) or just a small glass of wine (moscato) in the evening and it will unstress you too. IJS

I have not run into one grouchy person in any stores yet! :)) My stress will leave when I am finished.. almost there.. now need to decorate and get a tree!!! I don't live in a place where we get snow now either. Sometimes I miss it, but mostly I don't! I didn't know that about Bed Bath and Beyond...all the coupons they send me have expiration dates.

No snow here yet! Woot! Girl I'm glad you are a little bit less stressed. After Christmas my stress levels will leave... hopefully. I'm still chugging along trying to get things done. Cantata tomorrow and then packages delivered monday. House cleaning tuesday. Church dinner on Wednesday... more house cleaning... friday Josh comes home! haha. Busy week for me. Hugs and Smooches. Judy!! We've yet to have any amount of snow..the ground is clear..doesn't look like there will be a white Christmas this year..and that's OK with me..:) A new bike..that's very cool..:) Our shopping is done, the wrapping is done, the tree is decorated..just the baking left to do..a combined effort..:) Good luck with your cookies!!! Yes, going to the post office would have been quicker and easier but I was trying to save some money on postage AND have them pick the packages up, thus avoiding a trip there totally.. But by the time I finished, it was too late for a pick up without waiting another day.. ugh.. I know! No one to talk to! LOL xoxo

So many things have been updated on the USPS website. Ugh. Glad you finally got all your packages done. Would have been quicker to take it in and stand in a line, right? HA! :)

Yes, I should have just taken them to the PO, but was hoping to schedule a pick up, avoiding the PO totally.. but by the time I finished, it was too late for that without waiting an extra day.. ugh.. lesson learned.. I'm getting a stand alone postal scale! LOL

@mysteryglo I've had a postal scale for probably more than 15 years and you will not regretting getting one. Almost everything I send lately is in first class category so it helps to just put a bunch of stamps on it!!

@CookingAndCrafting I do have a small postal scale but I think it only goes up to 3 lbs.. I need one that goes to, at least, 20 lbs so I can weigh boxes! I definitely will get one!!  :))

Judy, yesterday it was 16C here (60F)! It is almost shocking! I can't remember such a warm December.  Hello Max! Tammy's turtle cookies do sound good. Your cookies will be wonderful, I am sure. Just listening to what you were saying about the computer stressed me. Those kinds of things drive me nuts! You must be exhausted if you were up until after 3am!

It was good to see you - we are just headed out for lunch with my sister. Maybe I will vlog later!

I has been very mild here too, all our snow melted. This morning we have a light dusting on the ground and it is below freezing (19F).

Eight packages is a lot and I see why you would want to get them ready at home, but it may have taken less time waiting in line at the post office, lol. I don't think we have the click and ship service for Canada, I'm going to have to check.

I much prefer warm over cold too but it just doesn't seem like Christmas without cold and snow!! Not that I want it but it helps to get into the spirit! LOL!! What a nightmare with trying to ship those packages! I ship tons of stuff but all I have is a kitchen scale that goes to 2lbs. If it weighs more than that, it goes in a flat rate box. Just easier and usually cheaper that way. Good luck on the bike shopping!! And dear Lord...I can't ever go into BB&B without buying SOMEthing!! LOL!!

What a mess with the postage! They ought to have a program that will be compatible with whatever computer you are using! Warm here too 49! A lot of rain and very, very windy today. @grams1944 Bed Bath and Beyond is great for coupons.. They have gotten smarter though, in that on their 20% off coupons, they now have 20% now - by a certain date, and then 10% after that.. Still, 10% is better than nothing! :)) The $5 ones are the best, especially on cheaper items!

It's 80 here today and I was just thinking the same thing as I was driving around shopping...heheh We haven't baked homemade cookies in a few years and I may just do that this year also. I ended up making those turtle cookies for the exchange and i thought they were a "fail" but everyone liked them.. They tasted ok, just didn't look like turtles! LOL I have learned from that click and ship thing.. no more PC programs for me.. I took the next batch to UPS to ship.. Much easier! haha
