This isn't that bad. But I still like Filter of old and STP of old way better than anything. Too bad those days are gone. And too bad the new young bands can't hold a candle to anything pre-1996. Those days are very much missed.

RP was a raging alcoholic when he was with Filter and in a Rolling Stone interview, he said that he doesn't even remember most of his career with Filter. He's sobered up and now sings "fully aware". Listen to this song. Does it make you think of someone who has beat an addiction and kicked its ass to the curb?!? Freakin' rocks, IMHO.

Just to say one thing,why fans of both bands STP and Filter do not like this one? Did you really liked the other 2 that much? Humm,just think about that for a sec.
By the way i enjoyed the sound,'stp' rhythm meets 'filter' mood.Nice!

This kicks arse, either way!!! It rocks like the antichrist in a cradle! Great riff, drumming / time-change & voice. Not jazz by any means, but be honest, would you want to die to jazz or this? I say, STP or AOA. It's all the devils' music and worthy of rocking your head to. p

there's an echo of STP,but Richard Patrick is a different type of vocalist to the other stuff altogether.he sounds more painfull than the other one.......:P

The drummer for STP was the weakest link of the band... this is definitely, DEFINITELY not him.

I just found out that is T-1000's brother. Amazing. Anyway my elementary school principal back in 95-96, is the brother in-law of the DeLeo brothers, I thought that was pretty interesting

Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone will never replace the STP void =( Core is still one of the best CDs, to this day.

Well, Patrick´s voice really got a lot more strong since his days of Filter, I almost didn´t recognize... The De Leo Bros, keep rocking hard trough all thesse years, but I can´t help to say that it sounds to me just like STP with Patrick singing..

It's too bad this album didn't do better, Patrick is a solid lead and the Deloe bros are smooth.
Lets hope they make another, if not, I wouldn't complain if new STP or Filter stuff came out either.

Army of Anyone sounds like STP with a new singer, and they pull it off. Velvet Revolver sounds like a band trying to be GnR with a new singer and it doesnt. Scott is awesome, but if I had to pick. I would take this band without question.
