  • yeahhh i got this thinking in my head..!!! q pinche buena cancion.!!!

  • My boy Ray on drums is now with KorN.....fucking badass drummer baby!!!!!!

    Love this album still!!!!!!!

  • @ez68eldo hi this is ray, im not your boy

  • @SummernlightningUSA

Damn Ray, why you gotta be like that?

  • great song, just ordered the album from amazon... happy that filter has a new one out, and am gutted that velvet revolver kicked scott out etc..... i'll always remember the sydney summer of 04/05 thanks to contraband......... good times.....

  • i would have liked to see a second album from this band

  • the intro sounds like sex and violence

  • Man, it sucks this supergroup was short lived. I just found out about em I wish I had sooner I would have contributed to be a better fan.

  • Killer hook and Ray's drumming at the end awesome ! He let's everyone know WTFU !

  • kind of like Sex and Violence

  • Ray Luzier should be the new drummer for STP. Eric Kretz is the most uninteresting drummer I've ever heard.

  • I think Ray is in Korn now.

  • Not Bad! Better Than "Talk Show"...

  • Looking forward to the new Korn album

  • robert deleo is the coolest bassist IMO!

  • looking forward to S.T.P's new album.

  • The Deleo brothers are the best lead guitar and bass combo in rock hands down. Killer baselines and unique crunchy solos and riffs, too bad popular music these days can't be as good as this.

  • this the first time I actually paid attention to this song and they sound awesome, but I'm glad that the DeLeo brothers are writing a new album with Scott. I love my Shirley Temple's Pussy.......I mean Stone Temple Pilots

  • Ray is the greatest drummer in the world! (to me)

    love this song,

and why did they cut out half of Ray's drum solo!?

  • ray is the man , so glad hes in korn now , and writin there new album as we speak

  • man, Luzier makes it crown. the drums gives the song an extra thrust. i knew Army of Anyone broke up. too bad...this song is skillful! i'll have to check out L. website.

  • yea that drumming is sick as fuck...seriously/ saves the double bass for the ending, not too little, not too much, classy

  • i love that ride/bell/hi-hat jig during the chorus genius. almost a second riff on drums. new type of drumming? possibly. luzier is definitely making the most buzz these days. keep kicking ass!

  • Need to check in, just to let everyone know how unreal that drum fill is at 3:18. I still can't get over how smooth Luzier plays that with the balls-out feel. That kid is incredible. I'll check him out with Korn. I'm sure it's a higher paying gig. Just keep him in a band where I can see him.

  • this whole song is unreal. i was so totally blown away the first time i heard this, i could pick out Richard and the DeLeos, they're so specific and unique, but i couldn't place Ray. i wish these guys would get back together again.

  • great song!

  • wow ray has gone from playing in this band to playing with the best band/.................korn, huge difference in music, dont get me wrong this is the first time i have heard this song or band and i think they are great

  • i agree with thestrawhead

  • I miss filter, but this band seems pretty solid, this song is awesome!

  • you know i got this album when it came out, it was actually a cool album

  • does anyone know if the lead singer of this band once fronted the band Filter? Same dude? thanx

  • he's the same, Richard Patrick.

  • thank you. appreciated that. thought so.

  • awesome song dean kicks kicks so much ass

  • great song.

    gay chorus?? sackit mothafocker

  • this song is as good as it got for them

  • I am not saying weather STP is better or not,I think STP is amazing as well.Just feel as though, this is something really special that these guys put together

  • This band is amazing. What an incredible record. This songwriting team really works well.

  • What an awesome lineup...This is the best band to come out in a long time. This record is amazing, the more I listen to it the better it gets.

  • dude stp is so much better

  • I think STP is better in almost everyway, but Ray Luzier blows David Allen away on the drums. And STP was always rather weak lyrically.

  • Luzier is great in this song. Love that fill at 3:15-3:30.

  • Luzier is a beast on the drums man. i love his drumming in this song.

  • Luzier is probably the best rock drummer I've heard, IMO. I just never grow tired of his drumming...

  • AMAZING SONG AND BAND!

  • What an increadible drummer...I guess the song would be a pleasure just listen to this skills

  • Ray Luzier is awesome!

  • Dean FTW

  • amazing song! The brothers can make some incredible music that adapts

  • the only that i hate bout this song is the part while it stops in between after the chorus,, sounds real wierd to me,, but stil the song is awesome,, well love the drumming,,,,

  • i'm kinda dissapointed cuz the STP tracks had more noticable basslines in their songs and the bassists had his special, mettalic, sound and i cant even hear it on this awsome song. I miss eric kreitz even though this drummer is really on his shit

  • had to come on here again to listen to this awesome song!! i love it, no doubt about it! thank you Lord, that i am not deaf!! <3 & {{}}

  • at first i was thinking, wow richard patrick's acting like a clone of scott too much but then they dropped into that soaring halftime chorus that reminds me of so many filter songs... good merging of styles, good tune

  • my brother wanted to say he could not believe this song. he loves!! <3<3<3 and {{ }}

  • i dont think eric kretz played though there was talk he was going to replace matt sorum once in vr

  • This is the most fantastic combo of vocal, guitar and the drums!! It's about the drums!! That dude needs to be noteworthy!! My BF plays drums. Says it's harder than it looks. Especially the drum sequence.

  • Ray Luzier is a monster

  • kretz wouldnt play without weiland and this proves that weiland makes the band

  • he played without weiland in talk show...

  • :( I miss Fuel, Filter, and STP. Whyd they have to split up, i mean i like Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone but I want STP to make a new album. :(

  • i wanna spent tthe rest of my adult live with you bercuase you are just so damn sexy

  • What did Eric Kretz do during this period?

  • Recentyly got this album, and can't stop listening to it. Ha. Love em. Incredible combination, and Ray Luzier(drummer) is so underrated. I guess Filter and STP's back catalogues go a ways to make up for the fact that they only did the one album.

  • 3:20 - 3:35 wow...I have to agree...a good combination of quite a few goods bands

  • Those guys are awesome! 'Nuff said.

  • Incredible drum fill from 3:20-3:35. Awesome. Kid's good.

  • Ray Luzier...sick...making a name for himself too...currently drumming for Korn, although he's way better than that.

  • the last part of the drums made me have an orgasm! So freakin' awesome!

  • dayum good song !rocks

  • I just now saw this. I have their CD and thought the drums kicked rocks!! When I heard~Goodbye~on the radio, I was in my car and had to pull over to dance in my seat! This rocks, rocks, rocks, rocks, rocks!! I LOVE it and their whole album! rock n roll babeee!

*I wish they were still together, sighh*

  • the lead singer sure doesnt age huh

  • Incredible drum fill from 3:20 til the end. That fucking kid deserves some credit.

  • YEA MORE PLEASE! 2 great band{S}! magestic song. lead is great and lyrics and vocal performance is outstanding.

  • STP REUNION!!!!!!! fuck yes

  • stp and filter are two of my favorite bands and I think AOA is great combination of their talents. They have such a great chemistry, and you can feel a release of emotion in each of their songs. I WANT MORE!!

  • I'm a fan of both...more of stp i guess but..they effen rock these guys...whole new sound!!!

  • God I love this song.

    ~ Jay

  • AOA fans, come on! Stop bashing Scott and VR. Scott didn't break up the band. They broke up because Grunge died and they didn't want to do post-grunge. They didn't know what to do. Besides Scott and The DeLeo brothers have been cool with each other even with the break up.

  • So, if grunge is revived, then will they reform?

  • Tès bon groupe ! C'est un de mes groupes préférés ! Bien sur il n'égale pas FILTER, dont je suis fan, mais ça fai plaisir de retrouver la voix de Richard Patrick sur un son plus grunge ! Que du bon !

  • I'm a filter fan, and this sounds nothing like Filter, but it's pretty good. I guess they're closer to Stone Temple Pilots, and they've got some cool riffs on this song. Even though it's sad they broke up, I'm kinda happy Filter is together, lol, Sorry AOA fans.

  • ray luzier, awesome drummer! Saw him at a Korn show.

  • I saw them and agree, the drummer is sick.

  • come on dude... sick... as in, insane, amazing, awesome, intense, shit like that ha come on dude. blonde moment? we all have em...

  • David Lee Roth's drummer.

  • Wow! Who the hell is that drummer. From 3:17 to 3:30 is flat out awesome.

  • this song reminds me of an ex i had to let go of!!not that anyone gives a damn about what or who it reminds me of!!i guess the point is...this song is pretty good!!! i like!!!

  • That would be the best thing ever. Maybe they'll pull a Smashing Pumpkins.

  • Scott Weiland Hints At An STP Reunion

    Thu, 24 Jan 2008 14:34:00

"If a Miami Herald interview with Scott Weiland is to be believed, "we should be on the lookout for an STP reunion in the coming months.

    w00t !!!!!!

  • Columbus, May 17th. Rock on the Range.

  • Im a hard CORE STP fan,it took me awhile before I even let myself entertain the thought of the Deleo`s with another singer but I finally gave it a listen and I have to say I really like this Album :)

Someone commented that they could hear some Brian Adams and Rush influences in this song and I have to agree the drummer definetly sounds alot like Neil Pert. But this Blows away anything by VR (dread that weakass group)

  • too bad they broke up but at least we get more filter and maybe stp this year....

  • AoA rocks the frelling pants off anyone else.

  • He's drumming foir Korn on their European tour

  • It's a lot like STP only more rock'n! :)

    Love it!

  • I thought this song kicked major ass, I bought the CD and thought the whole thing was awesome. How can you go wrong with filter and STP,lethal combination

  • well said mate :)

  • Sux, no one liked AoA. I mean the few of us that did are awesome. The rest...well yeah. Anywho, yeah the new Filter album should kick ass!!!

  • Is this band still together?

'cuz i heard Filter is a recording new album

  • Very good drummer.

  • Ten times bette than VR, IMHO... Can't wait for a second album. Richard sings fuckin' well, the de Leo bros. are as great as usual, and the drummer is amazing!

  • they broke up

  • That wasn't a firebird was it? maybe it was...

  • good drummer but he doesn't have shit on tim yeung! check out divine heresy's jam sessions and you be the fuckin judge!

  • That drummer is amazing.

  • vr sounds like the deleos, but you can still hear the slash. or did the deleos rip off scott weillands sound? its a good debate. however they all rock.

  • it sucks how vr just ripped off the deleo sound, so now this just sounds like a wannabe vr to the untrained listener : \

  • this does not sound anything like vr.

  • Man,Richard sure looks, sounds and moves liks Scott.Filter ans STP,who woulda thunk it.

  • A nasty Rush with a nasty Bryan Adams on vocals. A Canadian old school upheaval.

  • I listen Army Of Anyone the entire day, cool

    the album to deserve 5*

  • los hermanos DeLeo son de carajo..la rompen y a pesar de haberse disuelto STP, ellos siguen con ese gran estilo que crearon en los años 90 mientras estuvieron en Stp

  • the drummer!!wow!

  • theyre not gonna reunite, scott weiland said in an interview hes stayin with velvet revolver, so kcbrandon, im not sure where u heard that or if u just felt like sayin that, but its most likely bull

  • I gotta definately agree, they got the Deleos on the guitars, a sick drummer, and than u also got the singer from filter, theyre awesome, and how does anyone know wether Stp is getting back together, u cant be 2 sure, although that would be so great

  • there's a certain Rush feel here

  • Fuck me

    Thats what I thought

    A nasty Rush

this album was made for me

    exit stage Beast

  • some of the album has a rage against the machine sound to it

  • STP is geting back together for sure look for them soon.

  • filter sings, stone temple pilots play guitars, and the best drum, are the best group of the moment, im from spain and here anyone meet.

    simply the best

  • great great drumming

  • Ray's in KORN now...that band's gonna sound AMAZING!

  • this probably has one of the best drum solos in a mainstream music today. Great song.

  • You're right man. I agree. Wasn't especting all dat at all.

  • Sounds a lil bit like Foo Fighters.

  • I still think that's really Jason Bateman on bass. He's hiding in a Gilligan hat and the cheesy sunglasses. Look closely at the 3:10 to 3:15 mark. That's BATEMAN man! LOL

  • Robert Emile DeLeo (born February 2, 1966 in Montclair, New Jersey) is an American bass player and musician who has played for Stone Temple Pilots, Talk Show, and currently for the band Army of Anyone . He is the younger brother of Dean DeLeo, who plays guitar.( Wikipedia)

  • I know. I was kidding. He does look like Bateman though in this video... you gotta admit.

  • This isn't that bad. But I still like Filter of old and STP of old way better than anything. Too bad those days are gone. And too bad the new young bands can't hold a candle to anything pre-1996. Those days are very much missed.

  • Agreed in full, 90s were a great time for music, nowadays most of what's done sucks major arse.

  • I'm probably a little older than most of the people who listen to this, but I absolutely love it. RP was a raging alcoholic when he was with Filter and in a Rolling Stone interview, he said that he doesn't even remember most of his career with Filter. He's sobered up and now sings "fully aware". Listen to this song. Does it make you think of someone who has beat an addiction and kicked its ass to the curb?!? Freakin' rocks, IMHO.

  • there is something about that man.. But I would have to agree he looks totally different in this video.. |

still missing filter.. but army of anyone can fill the spot.. :)

    i heart Mr.Patrick..

  • Is that even Richard Patrick? Why does he not even look like himself anymore?

  • hey, its pretty good! although i have to say i miss filter a bit, but anyways, it sounds really good.

  • Just to say one thing, why fans of both bands STP and Filter do not like this one? Did you really liked the other 2 that much? Humm, just think about that for a sec.

By the way i enjoyed the sound,'stp' rhythm meets 'filter' mood.Nice!

  • This kicks arse, either way!!! It rocks like the antichrist in a cradle! Great riff, drumming / time-change & voice. Not jazz by any means, but be honest, would you want to die to jazz or this? I say, STP or AOA. It's all the devils' music and worthy of rocking your head to. p

  • cause of his raspy voice right? lol

i had to get a little used to it myself but after some listening it kinda when great with the the sound :/

  • there's an echo of STP,but Richard Patrick is a different type of vocalist to the other stuff altogether.he sounds more painfull than the other one.......:P

  • The drummer for STP was the weakest link of the band... this is definitely, DEFINITELY not him.

  • I just found out that is T-1000's brother. Amazing. Anyway my elementary school principal back in 95-96, is the brother in-law of the DeLeo brothers, I thought that was pretty interesting

  • It's ok, but I really miss Richard's Filter days.

  • ohhh i would hear this on the radio and i thought it was incubus i think

  • yeah you know what i thought the same cause incubus as has a song called wish you where here...i was in the other room and this song came on..and i was like what?

  • yeah i think i heard it in the morning and it got stuck in my head all day

  • they fuckin' rock, that's why i just bought an army of anyone t-shirt.

  • Who knew Jason Bateman played guitar for this band? Wonder why he's hiding in dark glasses and the Gilligan hat?

  • One thing's for sure: this band kicks ass (specially the drummer...)

  • He's from David Lee Roth's band.

  • Fortunately Rage is back, (sort of) and half The SP. nothing beats 90's

  • Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone will never replace the STP void =( Core is still one of the best CDs, to this day.

  • you got that right!

  • great song, from 3:10 and on is one of the best drum solos ever!!!!!!!!!! well not the best but it freakin rocks

  • Well, Patrick´s voice really got a lot more strong since his days of Filter, I almost didn´t recognize... The De Leo Bros, keep rocking hard trough all thesse years, but I can´t help to say that it sounds to me just like STP with Patrick singing..

  • It's too bad this album didn't do better, Patrick is a solid lead and the Deloe bros are smooth.

Lets hope they make another, if not, I wouldn't complain if new STP or Filter stuff came out either.

  • stp were awesome. alice in chains were also kick ass. it sucks thatso many bands now a days are so cookie cutter. same look, same sound, same fan base.

  • too bad stone temple pilots still aint around such a shame makes me want to poop my self its such a pity

  • rocks not dead

  • one of the rare hard rock albums that rocks all the way through

  • Man, I love this song so hard.

  • yeaaaahhhhhhhhhhh go army of anyone

  • He has an awesome voice, I wounder how he would sound singing a few alice songs?

  • Army of Anyone sounds like STP with a new singer, and they pull it off. Velvet Revolver sounds like a band trying to be GnR with a new singer and it doesnt. Scott is awesome, but if I had to pick. I would take this band without question.

  • Ray Luzier.

  • Ray is a far better drummer than Eric.

  • really good new band. i love stp and velvet revolver. but this is STP with a dif. singer who kinda reminds me of scott and dave grohl

  • I've kinda thought they sound like Audioslave, but hey thats just me.

  • Oh yeah. Richard Patrick, DeLeo brothers and Eric Kretz rockin'. Hope these guys stick around for while. Rock On!

  • that isnt kretz

  • whoops...yep, your
