the goverment should not try to take away the right to own pets. but i believe they should try to prevent animal hoarding in the united states. there have been many cases where people have owned up to 300 pets, their houses completely trashed and the animals dying. And when the animal cops come to their door are they going to say "dont mess with my pets!" ?
Responsible Pet Ownership are the key words here. I think that it should be the INDIVIDUALS whom are uncapable of taking care of certain kinds/types of animals that should be persecuted; NOT the breed, species etc. as a whole.
i have pit bulls and snakes and im tired of getting dirty looks because i have "dangerous" pets but in reality NONE of them have even gerald or hissed ever! and because of the retards that treat them bad, i cant keep them anymore?!
