the kit lense can still capture some great shots though. maybe not enough for the professional level, but awesome yet in still. i think there's an L series 24-108mm lens out. sweetness beyond measure...
Nah its about 80% good camera good lens ,15% a person who understands what they are doing with the lens and camera so the shot turns out ok and maybe 5% artistry. If you have one of these cameras,, seriously look at lenses if your photos are not turning out too well.
What is the image quality like at 400ISO? I assume much better than a point and shoot model? (I have a Canon Powershot S5 IS and I'm saving up for a 400D)...

this video was made for beginners who just bought their canon dslr. I'm pretty sure it was just to show like how easy it is with the basic modes.

THe camera is great! but youll need a good lens to get photos like this./.
The bundled lens 18-55 cant do this in a miliion years in case youre worried about why are my photos not good?
look up canon ef lenses.

the eos 10-22mm lens hes using here is pretty expensive (£400+)and a fave of real estate photographers.
It has VERY wide view and can easily fit a whole room into its viewpoint.

It shouldn't matter how good the lens is. I always thought that the photographer made the photo good?

it's really good.. just slight noise .. even 1600 ISO is ok, but then you have to remove the noise afterwards using software of course.
