@maatiuu Cool, I never realised until the end of the animation that you graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone. I am going there in September for second year animation. If you don't mind me asking how was your experience with the course work at the University? Was the classical 2d animation stuff really hard? I am quite scared and excited about going.

@paulod27 That's cool! It was pretty decent - we learned some fundamental stuff to begin with (walk cycles), then in 3rd and 4th year we got to work on animation projects. Never be afraid to look at all sorts of different things when you're there. I hope you have fun, and say hi to Wayne for me!

'Very' far if it got financed and put on the air! I mean... You've got some reallt good scenes among your work on deviantart, you should make like, 10 or 15 sec clips that showed them in moving images and try your luck! I wouldn't really care if it was a series or a movie, I'd get my hands on a copy asap!

Okay animation but I wasn't impressed, the sound could've used more work, the coloring was nice but the whole anime style has been done PLENTY of other times and seeing yet another anime wannabe art style in this makes it less innovative, I'm surprised that I didn't see any chibi. Overall you get a C- from me and a 2 star rating. Decent animation and colors but lacks originality.

Well the film was more or less experimental, and I'm an animator not a sound engineer (maybe I should've mentioned that ^^'). I'm glad you liked the animation and colouring however. And thanks for taking the time to watch my film.

I was honestly kinda looking for creativity, sound is no big deal. I do like that this was fast paced with some action though, it was even more fast paced than most newer American cartoons which is saying something considering that American toons are supposed to be cartoony and fast paced. You do have a good shot in a cartoon career either way but to me thats an easy field if you can make junk like Family Guy and get paid. I should've given you a 3 but I wasn't felling to well, how about a C+?

That's OK. This wasn't my best effort and a lot of stuff happened where I cut from a larger idea, so it became more of a 'technical' film than one with a decent story. But I guess animation is like magic - the audience only sees what you want them to see, so I need to work on how I present my story. Now I know what I can do and what needs to be improved.

Sorry if I was testy. Just a bad day for me. But very at least for taking the time to watch my film. I appreciate your honesty as well :)

Beautiful animation work, I especially love how expressive the rabbit characters are! Not only that but you made the chase scene humorous and enjoyable to watch. Normally chase scenes bore me, but I wasn't bored at all with this. So how long did it take you to make this movie?

I love this! ^^ Heehee, Mat makes such cute sounds. In which program did you draw/animate this?

First, I did rough animation tests on paper (line-tests). When I was satisfied with the animation of a shot, I drew a cleaner version of it (on paper again). Then I scanned the frames onto a computer and coloured them on Photoshop. I exported the frames as PNG files since they support transparency (I did the animation in layers), and just pieced the sequence together ^_^

I did the voice of Mat, albeit adjusting the pitch. I'm a crap actor ^-^'
