  • All you people who say that a horse can't jump that high from a trot evidently don't spend a lot of time in the english showjumping world. Horses can jump up to 5ft from an energetic trot. I'm 5ft 3" and most horses on my yard could clear me easily from a trot because they were bred for the purpose of jumping. Simple. *shrugs*

  • Poor Garnet!!!

  • i feel sooo bad for lisa i mean i would be mad if some1 rode my hors ew/ out asking but i meen she was just trying 2 b nice and wtf is w/ veronia i mean garnet is such a good horse!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice job Lisa

  • Man, i'd be so ticked off, i'd blow a gasket if someone ever rode my horse behind my back and without my permission.

  • As much as Veronica is an obnoxious snob... I have to agree with her on being ripped about someone else riding her horse. It happened to me and it is very frustrating. Its amazing how much UNtraining can happen in one session of bad riding. If she really wanted to do something nice, she should give her some treats and a grooming or something... not a "joy" ride.

  • jeez, since when was lisa so outgoing? and trotting! who are they trying to trick!! everyone knows thats not possible.

  • When Prancer attempts the jump it is a stunt rider if you watch carefully shes nudging the horse over and jerking its head towards the jump while she's making prancer drift and shy. Plus they are hardly ever going to make it over that height at a trot and not much space to even get an even stride.

  • i grew up with the original Saddle Club. when i was a young rider i wanted to be just like them, but now as an older, more experienced rider i am disappointed at the new season. there's no reference to previous seasons (where's Red, Deborah, and Drew?) and the riding is mediocre. at least they tried i suppose.

  • i love the schooling jumps i think theyre awesome!

  • ...trotting...really?! even someone who has never ridden a horse before( i have, for three yrs) knows that you have to canter to jump a fence that high. there's no way trotting will get you over. the producers really should read a book about horse facts

  • There is no way u should approach a jump in trot it should be a canter.

  • trotting? ridiculous!

  • Bits on horses isn't cuel if usen correctly. My barn uses nothing but bits in our bridles. We know how to use them.It gives you more control of your horse and it allows for more contanct for the rider, I've ridden for 10 years most of it using a bit,I know what I'm talking about.

  • @exxcel19 ya

  • in the old series wasn carol the best jumper?

  • i've jumped oxers but NEVER that high

i refuse to jump that high

i worry about the horses' legs

  • why are the riders approaching the jump from a trot?? do they really expect the horses to jump that hight from a trot?? no wonder this show is based for seven year olds

  • i know!

you have to approach it at a canter

  • @alliegirljls13194 They probably go at it at a trot so the horse wont jump and just step aside for the movie.

  • wow, they really screwed up Lisa's character. I understand the cast change and all but they should at least follow the example set by the books. The previous actress got it right. This character is wayyyyyy to confrontational and risky. Lisa's supposed to be the quiet, passive one.

  • bits arent cruel as long as you know how to use them! And dont use wire bits that hurt!Veronica was to close and she was trotting! And lisa rides with chicken arms!

  • How would Garnet be able to jump THAT high from trot? And didn't Prancer have trouble with her leg jumping like, half as high just an episode ago?

  • Erm...Double Oxer? Isn't that an Ascending Oxer? Meh, oh well. It's a kids show, not some jumping show. I'm also a bit ticked on how Veronica reacts, that's one of the worse ways to handle a situation when your horse refuses.

I liked the way Lisa told Veronica what she was doing wrong, tell it up straight to her face, girl!

  • Why is Lisa bonding with Garnet shouldn't she be bonding with Prancer?

Lisa: 'It's so unfair to blame it on you horse'

(At the lesson) Lisa: 'Come on Prancer.'

  • all bits are cruel, dont they no that

  • if lisa thinks shes doing something nice for garnet then shes very stupid, poor garnet was foaming at the mouth, lisa needs to ride with looser reins

  • Not only that, but she should stop Garnet and let her walk every now and then.

  • veronica is horrid poor garnet i think lisa shuld hav garnet instead of veronica

  • If Veronica keeps neglecting Garnet, she's going to lose another horse.

  • they need a longer run up to that jump!!

  • lisas practically walking to the jump

  • yh basically. They need a biogger run up at it coz you need more inpulsion to jump an oxer

  • lisa needs to get prancer 2 canter if she wants 2 make that jump

  • Haha exactly what I thought....

  • Thanks for posting.

Prancer wouldnt of make that jump at all!

A horse cant jump that high at a trot..
