My favorite show was their 10th anniversary at Finsbury Park. Don't know why in particular, just seemed like it was a landmark time. Punk had survived 10 years.
There's so much musicianship in one Damned song, that Guns & Roses even made their whole career out of "borrowing" only the last twentyfour seconds of this song.

one of my fondest memories was seeing The Damned that first tour at The Whisky ( 77) in LA. blew the whole scene open after that appearence.
