  • I went there in 2004... The sense of mourning was incredible. I wept. 911 was a turning point. Now we've moved away from it. As we do, so our views diverge. America does not appear stronger 10 years later, but significantly weaker as a nation. Not because of 911, but in the aftermath of it.

  • It seems like some of the NewYorkers in this video feel like the experience was only theirs which is not the case. The rest of us may not have had the same experience, but we did feel the panic, fear, anger, and sorrow. Just because they were the closest doesn't necessarily mean it affected them the most and people want to see where it happened since it affected their lives so much.

  • I agree, but I will give them that. The impact of the Cold War was very far reaching, but I'm sure it hits extra deep to East Germans, Polish, and everyone else behind the Iron Curtain.

  • that is true but we still had tons of fear and panic, they may have been closer and maybe more fear but we were still in danger here in america

  • exactly, I had an uncle die in the twin towers, I was just watching tv and all of a sudden the news came on that the towers were being attacked and I new my uncle could die, and he did, I'm in kansas and I was highly affected by the 9/11 attacks, those new yorkers need to find out that they're not the only ones affected by the attacks

  • yes. well done. refreshingly real. I'll have to check out your other vids now.

  • I was at Ground Zero a year after. Made me proud to be in the military serving my country. There are people out there who think life is not precious. We need to defend ourselves from these people.

  • you are absolutely right, aliencrap. Our government must be stopped at all costs, before it is too late.

  • True.

  • very true
