ah great to see this version and i knew it was way before 86 that this song was around but officialy 86.. this is so rare to see this chris is so sexy here very sexy he oooozes of it
I read Bobby O recorded the song in 1983 and released on his label in the following year. What I like about Euro-Disco or Synth-Pop are the spooky synth sounds.
I was born during the same year they released their first album. Seven years later they became my favorite group, period. This was released on Bobby O's hits volume 2 if I'm not mistaken.
Hahah, Neil was a lot more lively whilst singing in this! And he looks really young when compared to the official video for this in 1986 (and also rather cute).

This is a strange version of West End Girls.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again" ... Never heard that line or the one that says something like " Who do you think you are, Joe Stalin?"
I think this is actually quite funny!

Hey, this video is great. It's possible to see that Chris' stillness behind the keyboards was adopted later.

This is from the Life in Pop dvd. The first time I saw it I hurt myself laughing. It still makes me laugh, it bet they cringe when they watch it.
Great track, but they both look embarrassed. And the clothes!
