I bought a new Red laser XT turbo in 86. The laser XT didnt have black plastic skirts. The dodge daytona had the skirts. I owned a brand new one I should now.

I believe one of these rear-ended me, my first auto accident, in 1985. Fortunately, I wasn't hurt. Unfortunately, Laura wasn't driving the Laser.

There is another version of this song/commercial using a red Laser XT and fire and red-clad dancers.The car is weaving its way around firey explosions,dragging its rear end (parking brake slides) as it goes.Puts new meaning to "Heat".

Actually this commercial is for "Laser XT" and not "Laser XE".XT was a new top performance trim level for Laser in 1986.Most all the video taken for this commercial was of the 85 Laser XE.The XT had black plastic skirts hanging down from the rocker panel,and all 86s had 3rd brake lights.
