I never understood what the hell the refs/ linesmen really care if players want to fight. Let 'em go and stay outta the damn way before someone gets a stupid injury or a win/loss that shouldn't have happened. LET THEM FIGHT. How does it affect your life by them sitting in the box for 5 minutes. Stupid officials.
Why is it that evrytime I see Kordic, I expect him to belt out an Alvin and the Chipmunks tune? He could smuggle 34 walnuts to Thanksgiving dinner in those cheeks!
WTF! I'm a huge Twist fan myself. y did twist hold back? thats very unlike him. He allways keeps punching, even when he goes down with someone to the ice. wierd fight
lol This was pre-steroid Twist, who got 2 ribs broken against Kocur. This wasn't the dominant roid monster! This was Tony's 1st stint in St. Louis. His second go round he was 40 pounds heavier. Both men are cheaters though, so there isn't much debating.
The St Louis steroid monkey was beating the Toronto steroid monkey until the linesman got in there, then the Toronto steroid monkey threw a shot in there and hit the St Louis steroid monkey at the end of the fight between two steroid monkeys!!
This was before Twist juiced. He was 215 here...not the 245lb monster he later became. I will agree that both guys were cheaters and gave a black eye to hockey!
@bareknuckles2u and they were the only 2 steroid monkey in the nhl, sry, everybody else in clean, nobody else took any drugs,u never took any drugs...u just lighten my path mate, thank you for being such prophet
@landryqc I have to laugh when people say this guy or that guy was a monkey. Half the enforcers in hockey were either coke heads or juice monkeys. It's like that in pretty much every form of fighting: MMA, wrestling, BJJ/submission grappling etc etc. I think they should just make it legal in all sports because they are NEVER going to stop it. It's just another way of seeking an advantage or a way of improving.
@bareknuckles2u This is way before the "steroid" claims. You don't know much about hockey do you? This probably about 89'-90' season. The claims were for about 97'.
Were you ever in Toronto during the 1980s? Half of the Toronto Maple Leaf players during that era were more useless than Twist and Kordic, the worst being Miroslav Innachek. Vladimir Krutov in Vancouver was perhaps the most useless of all.
Shoulda been retitled Steroids vs Steroids lmao.
