I remember seeing this for the first time. It made me believe in Heath Ledger. I was skeptical of the casting, like everyone else and after watching this, I could not believe that was Heath. People claim that this movie only got popular because Heath Ledger died. I don't know about anyone else but my mind was changed the minute I saw these initial trailers. Important point? They were all released more than a month BEFORE Ledger died.

And others just wanted to see how Nolan and Ledger will potray the Joker. The movie would've still be popular and live its hype if Heath Ledger hadn't died.

Casting Maggie as Rachel was a terrible mistake especially for such an amazing film. She didn't even feel personality wise like the Rachel we knew, let alone her actual looks. Not to be crude, but her fucking pig face made me almost gag during this film. The best acting I've seen in the film was when the Joker actually had to look her in the face and tell her she was beautiful. Bring back Katie!
