The f.mp>cr.hp link at 2:25 is very very spacing dependant, definately not your standard bnb you throw out every match, haven't seen anyone do that before in a game without a counterhit.

Anyway Sasaki is going way for the f.mp/cr.lp>cl.mp>cr.hp combo in recent videos, he probably wants that damage hehe.

@HitokiriBattousaiOro they're probably the two best well-known codys that are presently active in the current community spotlight, but there are other great codys such as furansujin, uziwgp, and sitamachi. i was convinced that furansujin was the best cody in the world, but he hasn't been able to hold that title because he hasn't been seen anywhere in tournaments or online replays lately

@Dridokof Literally zero mashing going on in round 3 except for a few 3 punch hit confirms. He wasn't even plinking. Sasaki's execution is on point.

@RainbowRandolf He was plinking. He just failed his plinks, even if he successfully landed his combos. A LP+MP input without anything else around is just a failed medium punch plink.

The combos he didnt plink where combos you dont need to at all (jump HP > HP), or light punches (cause u cant plink light punch, all you can do is double tap).

He even plinked his frame traps xD.
