this was good, but the energy and acting was really bad. the one thing i really really liked was chucks singing, that was pretty awesome. however, the bit at the end ruined it for me. chuck is supposed to be a scary high school dropout, not someone who goes and talks to the audience like that.

i also don't like the broadway music at all. the original movie version is so much better. (that's the music we used in our school performance). kudos to chuck, though, he did a great job!

terrible acting, bad musical director (no harmonies?). chucks part is not supposed to sing every note, although he did a great job vocally. but the production quality was shit. this ruined footloose for me.

anyone who is out there saying that i wouldn't have the guts to preform in front of people, or sing, ill have you know that i am in footloose right now, cast as chuck cranston, and was recently asked to be in high school musical 2

i thought the blocking was pretty good for this one but chuck is suppose to be more intimidating than the guy that played chuck. i do agree with you guys that say he has a great voice but he was more like a pushover when it came to areal and him. it just dosent match the scrypt. and at the end when the curtains closed that definately wasent in the script and it also made him look kinda stupid. sorry if i hurt any feelings but its how i feel

just got cast in the role of chuck, this is great man...I've never played a role like this before, usually the dashing lead (curly in oklahoma for example) but this helps out a lot because i bet you'd never have pinged this guy as a chuck either. Awesome job man.
