@samaasuper Sure, hate on all muslims just because of some extremists.
Let's do the same with America. Hate on all Americans just because "they" killed the Native Americans. While we are at it, why dont we hate every country and every single race out there?
Okay, when did they "start" to build the Twin Towers and how many years did it take to build? Technology has increased in years. AND where would it be rebuilt? We HAVE to keep the memorial where it is for remembrance. But then again, we live in the year of excavation and uncaring..smh..God bless those who lost someone close..
I was 3 years old when the tragedy happened... I mean i wonted to see them, it was the tallest thing on earth that man created. I can't stop watching videos about wtc.. They were so beautiful. I won't to rebuild my self if nobody wants. Who's with me?
@6269352998 I can't agree more, but wow! that's a lot of work i would think but i bet any engineer with a heart would be ready to tackle this task if they have a heart. ??:)
@6269352998 what are you talking about. They weren't the tallest thing on earth the cn tower and many other structures were much much taller. They were built to withstand the impact of multiple 747s, so if you believe the official story (which is full of scientific impossibilities) then you should be ashamed of the engineering failure that the towers were.
from tightroping across it freely to watching someone jump from it years later. how sad it goes. its nice to have something good to see about the twin towers

@MrRobertRoss1 there is a guy whos french and he climbs all the toughest clims ever and he dosent have and rope he climbed the New York Times building but he to was arrested
Its hard to watch videos like this for too long, it makes me feel bad because NYC is one of my favorite cities that I visited when I was younger before the bullshit as I like to put it!
Not that I don't miss the towers because I do, but I miss my rights more. I miss the 3000 killed that day; I miss the thousands of US service people killed because of that day. I miss the world I lived in before 9/11. The towers were just steel and concrete; it's not shocking that the new american ideal values the material building far more than the concept of liberty or those who die for it. We used to be the moral standard for the world; now we torture like Saddam and eavesdrop like the KGB.
I clearly remember Philiipe Petit making this cross. He actually performed 3 headstands while crossing the wire. And no, he had NO safety measures when he performed this stunt. He also performed several other high-wire stunts after that.
On the subject of 9/11, what a (sad) profound contrast between those looking up at the top of the towers at Petit vs the horror of those looking up on the towers of 9/11.
The WTC was barely finished, the plaza was still being under construction, no antena on the north tower and the panels of the side of the tower (roof high) were not installed
I wish they recorded this on video that would have been amazing. Man on wire was surprisingly good, by the end of the film I actually thought...I love this guy, you might think it is crazy but his rebellion and determination is something I just loved, and all the people talking about it were mostly quite emotional, like someone else said a nice way to remember the towers, rather than the depressing thing that they are mostly remembered for now.
@heythanksbutnothanks He was planning on recording it, The guy who was supposed to record it didn't because he was too tired from pulling the 450 pound cable for about an hour after the slack rope fell in between the towers. Petit insisted on doing it, they were going to call it off because the plan was to do it before daylight, but like I said the cable falling delayed everything. The people street level probably barely saw a thing, but can you imagine the view as a WTC worker on the towers
@1RonBurgundy1 Thanks for the information, I always wondered why they never recorded it, it is a real shame they didn;t though, it would have been a great thing to see and have now the towers are gone.
Yes that would have been somje sight to see as a WTC, I reckon you wld probably think...what a nutter....but I saw man on wire and I could say I can kind of understand his reasons for doing it...but imagine how hight the towers were....this really was quite amazing...at 4.44 he was even lying down

Anyway, I am also dissapointed that there wasn't a video of it, he danced around for 45 minutes. You can see on youtube smaller-scale footage of Petit in a couple locations. One was a minute long and one was 2 minutes and you see him lying down above Notre Dame and Sydney. Nothing like the WTC act but better than nothing. he is also lower to the ground but still pretty damn high
@1RonBurgundy1 thanks, I have seen a lot of videos of Petiit, the twin towers wre so high to yes a real shame no video footage but it is just amazing how calm and relaxed he was to be able to do that, it is almost like to him it is just the same thing, it is just higher up, a great guy though, he really is an artist.
