Thanks so much Jimmy. It is surprising that for a song that has had so many covers that it could hide out for so long. Appreciate your comment, as always. Ed
Hi Ed! Awesome rendition! My goodness your talent is as sharp as ever! I forgot how good it was to watch your videos! 5 stars easy! Good to hear you my friend!
Thank you Sam. I always appreciate your comments. You were one of my first supporters. Thanks for the stars. At my age, I am greatful to be seen and heard. Ed
Ed, lightning speed and such rhythm! Not only do you strum circles around us all, but you've found a song from the 30s that I've never heard. Well done!
Thanks Michael, It's a very simple song but is a favorite jazz number.I know, too fast...again. Must be the water. Every jazz artist has done a version. I used to hang out in NYC jazz clubs when in was in High School and college and don't remeber ever hearing it. I was in Essex Connecticut at a Dixeland Jazz fund raiser for Paul Newman's "Hole in the Wall Gang" and I heard the "Manhattan Stompers" do it. It stuck with me. Doc Chettham does a great instrumental version that I love.
I admire this. :D

Awesome! I wonder how many Rosettas were out there back then. Was it a popular name?

Thanks so much, I don't think it was that popular until the song was published. I knew allot of Roses (very commone Irish name) but no Rosettas.
