Fore arm semi painful not bad, shoulders not bad, calves egh, shin bad ... Leg sleeve so so ... Side piece from armpit to butt not the best not the worst, middle of the pelvic area not bad ... Inside finger fml, chest not bad, toe knuckles ( just got done tonight ) not bad at all . But it may hurt someone
For some reason, after I got my tattoos I had the shivers really bad. I did get 2 last month ( December ) and one two days ago (January) and I turned the heater in my car all the way up but still shivered. That's happened all three times. Can someone tell me why this is.
@TeknikAlity34 it happens to me too, i think it is probably a combination of anxiety and adrenaline, your body releases it naturally in an attempt to ease pain, and since stimulates your body, it probably makes you "jittery", i always have a hard time driving home afterwards because i feel almost disoriented, lol.

you are damn right...I had a tattoo-session going on for 7 hours over my right shoulder down to my back..and at the end of that session I felt like...i dont know, it was a felling like I was totally empty with a light headache, like dehydrated. I also was hungry as hell and tired of the pain, just so tired of the pain. After the first 2 hours everything was fine and I felt like, yeah cool, keep on going..but after 5 hours it was just pain, pain, pain. I liked it :)))
I should clarify and say I was sore after each sitting for a good 5 days or so. he spaced the sittings out for every two weeks so what he had done had time to heal. I am glad he did that but it was frustrating to finally be healed and pain free and then have to go back in and do the healing and recovery all over again after each sitting. haha

@Lozzeii It really all depends on your pain tolerance. If your really sensitive to pain it might suck alot. depending on what numbing cream you use it might fade out the ink one its finished so I wouldnt

@roCKtheARTs93 - they say if you take ibuprofen 30 mins before your apointment this will help with the sting, but really the whole point of getting the tat is the full experience, the pain is part of the process and when the piece is done and finished you will have a greater appreciation and respect for your body art - Good luck :)

I think the most less painful place is your upper arm area, that's why most people get tattoos there and where you had most of your childhood vaccinations.
You know, I have one on the back of my neck, one on my lower leg, and one on my lower back (the largest - about medium sized. The other two are smaller.) You'd think the back of the neck would hurt worse than the lower back, especially since I'm a bigger girl and have more "padding" there. But, for some reason, my lower back was THE WORST!!! I can't really figure it out. My lower leg was the easiest, but it still didn't feel good. LOL Temporary pain for permanent art is worth it! :o)
Love people talking about what place hurts most. It turns into some sort of competition. A bit like the scar scene in Jaws. Personally for me if was underneath the fingernail once it was removed! But yeah poopiedoopie5, I can go along with that!

The most simple words that can describe the most painful areas when getting a tattoo is where the nerve endings converge like the ankles and the fatty area near the armpits...Areas wherein muscle cells are not that thick like the area at the back right above the spinal column also holds a lower pain threshold...Hope this helps...

Well if you are in age period when your mom can actually make you go against your personal will, its best not to get a tattoo. You must be 11, and as your body grows tattoo size will grow as well. That will make the original image of your tattoo look like its painted by a high donkey fucker.
Bony areas hurt .. ribs, sternum, fingers, head and feet.
Skin that dosn't see the sunshine hurts: belly, chest/breast, inner thighs, butt cheeks
Areas that protect vital organs: ribs again, low down on the inside of your wrist, over kidneys etc Also, anything on the 'under part' of your feet or hands/fingers will wear away, as well as toes and elbows. But, when all said and done, it's all worth it in the end.

It was uncomfortable,don't get me wrong.
But the only painful part was when she'd go another layer deep in my skin.

You know, I have one on the back of my neck, one on my lower leg, and one on my lower back (the largest - about medium sized. The other two are smaller.) You'd think the back of the neck would hurt worse than the lower back, especially since I'm a bigger girl and have more "padding" there. But, for some reason, my lower back was THE WORST!!! I can't really figure it out. My lower leg was the easiest, but it still didn't feel good. LOL Temporary pain for permanent art is worth it! :o)

I have a few tattoos, a few chinese symbols down my rib cage, 2 medium sized pieces on my back and i have crazy on the inside of my lip. the ribs are by the worst, im super good with pain like its unusual how tolerable i am. the other tats were nothing but the ribs hurt but im skinny.

I just got angel wings on my upper back for my 16th birthday in memory of my grandparents a couple of weeks ago but i did get it all the way across my back and on my neck also, it didnt hurt that much just keep your mind off of the pain but the only part that i really remember feeling a lot of pain is my neck and like the edges of my shoulder blades so you souldnt have a problem, sing a song (not out loud dont want no one to think your crazy now) it helped me alot

But what i am sure a about is a phoenix tattoo across my back. The most simple words that can describe the most painful areas when getting a tattoo is where the nerve endings converge like the ankles and the fatty area near the armpits...Areas wherein muscle cells are not that thick like the area at the back right above the spinal column also holds a lower pain threshold...Hope this helps...

i have lots of tattoos and my most painful was my elbow and 4 hours of ink down my spine but in my opinion tattoos are like a drug in a way cuz once u get just one its very hard to stay at just one, i started gettin mine at 16 and told myself when i was sittin in the chair while he was inkin my back that never again was i gunna do it but 4 years later my back, arms, and chest is covered so i wanted to save money so i now got into the tattoo work and do the ones i can myself

Well if you are in age period when your mom can actually make you go against your personal will, its best not to get a tattoo. You must be 11, and as your body grows tattoo size will grow as well. That will make the original image of your tattoo look like its painted by a high donkey fucker.

Bony areas hurt .. ribs, sternum, fingers, head and feet.
Skin that dosn't see the sunshine hurts: belly, chest/breast, inner thighs, butt cheeks
Areas that protect vital organs: ribs again, low down on the inside of your wrist, over kidneys etc Also, anything on the 'under part' of your feet or hands/fingers will wear away, as well as toes and elbows. But, when all said and done, it's all worth it in the end.
