Lost is about the journey towards the end. What makes this show great is that it keeps you guessing; it is interactive. This is the only show were I surfed the web to find theories of small details like Egyptian history or the weird numbers.

I think Desmond was wrong in that he caused the plane to crash. They were high up in the air. The scene with The Others at the bookclub, the only thing they experienced was the ground shaking - like an Earthquake. If the magnetic field were to cause the plane to crash, The Others would have been experiencing what Desmond was when the system went into failure because of the strong magnetic field. I still think the plane crashes regardless of what happens on season 5 finale.

@lizarddude3000 Hm, ok, but what caused Yemen's plane to crash? Henry Gale's hot air balloon to crash on the island? Desmond to ship wreck on the island? Frank Lepidus having to make an emergency landing on the island as the helicopter was going down? Seems that most people's mode of transportation when they are near the island, coincidentally brings them to the island. I thought there was some bigger meaning behind that, but I guess not. Disappointment again in this show.

@truexjr81 Wrong. Henry Gale crash landed on the island, was killed by the Others and buried. Have you forgotten the episode where Sayid extracts the body of the so called "wife" of "Henry Gale" and discovered the true body of Henry Gale? That's how Ben obtained a story to tell Locke and Jack.

I know. I'm very upset that it is the last season. I really just love the casting, sometimes more than the show. I'm going to start watching Flash Forward after lost is over and finished mainly because Dominic Monaghan is a main character as well as the actress who plays Penny. Should be pretty good because they also make LOST references from the few episodes I have seen.

@filmfan28 Yes, it might mean that every adventure etc. leaded to the explosion of the bomb (0:16) and that it has been leading to the crash and to jack openning is eye (0:22) and going out of the jungle (0:25). And that nothing has changed

At the end of this promo it shows jack awakening and coming out of the jungle. Maybe the plane just crashed but he kept his memories from his past island experience and maybe they can stop "Jacob" from ever getting killed.

I think that Jacob was never killed. On the very last episode of season 5, when so called "Locke" was inside the statues foot with Ben, Jacob says you finally found your loophole. After Ben stabbed Jacob, "Locke" kicked Jacob into the fire. My guess is that Jacob can not be killed by "Locke". So this is why I think that Jacob is still alive.

I think that Jacob didnt die from Bens stabbings and was not fully dead yet. Why the so called "Locke" pushed him into the fire, this was when he finally "died". Its confusing, I know. Im working on capturing every episode... Currently working on season 1. Should have them all up in a few months or so.
