Armenians together with russia tried to annex a big chunk of eastern Turkey Ottoman government decided to deport the Armenians to Syria. On the way a lot might have died no denying it.Genocide means the extermination of an entire ethnic group supported by the government. But Ottoman government never carried out such an order. Thats why the Armenians in western Turkey weren't touched Only Armenians in eastern Turkey were deported to stop the Russians and Armenians from annexing eastern Turkey.
