Thanks Adib. But I think you said it with a slight "Gulf Arabic" accent. What you say as "gana'akah," I think that in classical Arabic it be "ghana'kah, i,e. the "gh" is softer and more gargled than the hard "g" that you say. Just a minor point obviously! Your native-born Arabic is obviously FAR better than mine!

But, ablution is necessary for all of the obligatory prayers. "Perform ye, likewise, ablutions for the obligatory prayers" in the Most Holy Book.

This is a very good transliteration. Very clear phonetics and very good recitation. ALL American and/or ENGLISH SPEAKING Baha'is WILL BE ABLE TO SAY THE PRAYER CORRECTLY. NOW, ALL WE NEED IS A DEMONSTRATION OF THE RAKAATS & SUJDAHS DURING "THE OTHER PRAYERS" (The long prayer and the medium prayer).

"Ash'hadu ya ilahi be an'naka khalaqtani lee erfanekah wa ebadatek. Ash'hadu fee hadal heen be ajzee wa quatekah, wa da'afi wa iqtedarekah, wa faqree wa qana'ekah. La illaha illa antal muhaimenol qayoom" - Baha'u'llah
