Thanks Adib. But I think you said it with a slight "Gulf Arabic" accent. What you say as "gana'akah," I think that in classical Arabic it be "ghana'kah, i,e. the "gh" is softer and more gargled than the hard "g" that you say. Just a minor point obviously! Your native-born Arabic is obviously FAR better than mine!
This is a very good transliteration. Very clear phonetics and very good recitation. ALL American and/or ENGLISH SPEAKING Baha'is WILL BE ABLE TO SAY THE PRAYER CORRECTLY. NOW, ALL WE NEED IS A DEMONSTRATION OF THE RAKAATS & SUJDAHS DURING "THE OTHER PRAYERS" (The long prayer and the medium prayer).
"Ash'hadu ya ilahi be an'naka khalaqtani lee erfanekah wa ebadatek. Ash'hadu fee hadal heen be ajzee wa quatekah, wa da'afi wa iqtedarekah, wa faqree wa qana'ekah. La illaha illa antal muhaimenol qayoom" - Baha'u'llah
Thank you! I am feeling so blessed to know how to say the prayer in Arabic. Allahu Abha! Could you consider doing other prayers and sayings of Bahaullah in Arabic for us, dear brother. And a beautiful day to you too!
Thank you very much for this. I knew the translation into english and I have it written down into Arabic, but I can't read Arabic, so I didn't know how to read this. Now I know how it sounds. Thank you so very much for that. It really means a lot.
Thanks for doing this Adib -- what a great service! I'm currently studying Arabic to be able to read the Writings and was searching for videos. Any chance you might be able to recite some of the Arabic Hidden Words?
Thank you for viewing this site. I'll try to aggregate few ideas on what to upload on YouTube. I am making a list of things. If you like, send me a message through YouTube and let me know what prayers you would like to hear in Arabic.
Thanks for this wonderful video. I was wondering if I could make a request.
Could you please recite the long obligatory prayer in Arabic? I've been looking for an audio/video of the long obligatory prayer for a while and have been unsuccessful.

@classicalguitar85, The short obligatory prayer in Arabic is in the Kitabu'l 'Aqdas in Arabic. It's several pages after the end of the main text.

But, ablution is necessary for all of the obligatory prayers. "Perform ye, likewise, ablutions for the obligatory prayers" in the Most Holy Book.
Thanks for your video!

Adib, the phonetic printing of the words are very helpful. Is it possible to get that in a printable form?
Linda1844 1 year ago
@Linda1844 You can use the following if you wish:
"Ash'hadu ya ilahi be an'naka khalaqtani lee erfanekah wa ebadatek. Ash'hadu fee hadal heen be ajzee wa quatekah, wa da'afi wa iqtedarekah, wa faqree wa qana'ekah. La illaha illa antal muhaimenol qayoom" - Baha'u'llah
Hope this helps!

I'll do my best to make one. For now, I'll start with the short Arabic prayers; such as the healing prayer, morning prayer, and so forth.
Thank you for your comment!
