Comparing cable to boat is like comparing wakeboarding to wakeskating. They are two different types of skills that require different muscle memory.

An S-bend on a boat is harder than on cable, but the cable isn't limited to just an s-bend. You can do double s-bends on cable which is impossible right now on a boat. It all depends on the person and how much they have practiced in that sport.

Man, who cares whats harder or easier, go out and ride, push your own limits and have fun. I ride both kite and cable, and have never really tried wake though i wouldnt mind a go at it. Cable is perfect for getting the technique and the feel for something then taking it to the kite. That S bend looked totally rude though big respect to that dude, respect to dudes riding in boots too, what ever religion you follow, cable wake or kite, all i can say is boots make the stack ten times worse. @Lotzy I remember seeing videos of a guy who was awesome at the cable park, I can't remember if he competed or not but he was unbelievable. Then he posted a video of him behind a boat, and he couldn't even gap the wake.

Not to say cable is gay or takes less skill, because I haven't had the chance to travel to one since I live in Vancouver. But my buddy who just went to one in Australia for the first time said it was amazing.

no darin shapiro's got some way better s-bends. honestly, just look up on youtube: darin shapiro wakeboard, russia. those are s-bends and vulcans with more air than i thought possible on a wakeboard.
