BlueEyedSoul21 A better statistic would be accidents per mile/kilometer not just accidents per driver as it is not fair. My father drivers around 200thousand kilometers a year, my mother no more than 10thousand (In spain, in 2003 women had 30% more accidents per kilometer as men). Also, when traveling during the night or under bad weather it's usually the man who drives the car (when in couple) increasing accidents statistics for men.

I love how men think they are better drivers. In reality, women have fewer accidents. Which is the reason our insurance is typically cheaper. I'd love to hear a man enlighten me on that one. :-P

The problem with women is that they often lack aggression, so they don't test/improve their skills and the capabilities of their cars. They also tend to over-estimate their abilities and underestimate what their cars can do and often aren't as connected with their vehicles and spatial relationships as they should be...namely because women aren't quite as good with spatial relationships but they seem to love big fucking SUV's they can't manage well. Women tend to be less situationally-aware too.
