It makes me laugh how pissy people get because the solo isn't 100% on the money. He's not using a whammy bar so people who don't have one can learn the song. He learns all of these songs by ear, so obviously it's not going to be smack on due to some notes either being missed or off. No offense, because Andy has great chops, but this is not correct. The small tapping licks in the solo are notoriously absent, and the bends are pretty poor, as in off-key. Nothing against Andy or anyone else, but this is a very poor representation of the quality of your DVD's.
@cptdannys Probably super ultra light. They are like .048 to .008. They are very light; I had some one time, and they bend like \nothing even in standard tuning.
He plays it different because he doesn't want to waste time Drop D tuning a floyd rose guitar and therefore plays it on a guitar that can be tuned easily.

The notes are correct, but he plays it in an interesting way. If you don't like this, then go and buy the official songbook. It's transcribed the way Syn plays it. But this is a much easier way to play it. I have this DVD and the songbook, too. This is the easier version. Trust me.
@ErnellTheHavoc Do you have any idea about what you're saying? Syn plays with Drop D which means JUST THE 6TH STRING is tuned down from standard. Drop C would only change the same string, which wouldn't affect the solo at all since it is not even used.

I thought Licklibrary were supposed to teach how to play songs not the session musicians interpretation of it. DOn't get me wrong these guys are incredibly talented far better than I i'm just questioning the content of the video?

@bry4n3 yeah but this isn't supposed to be his interpretation. It's supposed to be how to show people how to play the notes that syn gates plays. Man, this one is a real dissapointment compared to all of his other vids.
