@Unsolvedfanatic ..But just because we don't know of their past doesn't mean that they never had at least one person that was somehow good to them, that gave them food..or sat and pet them..even the smallest act of kindness towards them in any part of their life can stick with them forever..and it may be the only thing that can get them through what they went through there. just horrible that people treat living beings like that for money. I can't wait to become a veterinarian!

@Unsolvedfanatic I understand the point your trying to make, I don't really like the rude tone your implying towards the other person. but how do you know these dogs didn't come from a loving home ever?? Many dogs and/or cats used as lab rats have been stolen from someones home and many come from the shelter where some states in the US have in place that shelter dogs can be sold to labs for like a $1 and some change..and we don't always know where those animals came from..(more in next comment)

all of the dogs probobly had dreams of a loveing family. and then they were bought or found or whatever by them, they were cute and probobly had been sold by a family that did not want or need them anymore. and they went from being happy and well fed. to that? then they hoped for their old home or wherever they came from! but no. they are scared. no longer loved. this is animal abuse that is just sickening. and no one comes to rescue them. no one. and they are all alone.

why are people so ignorant and unwilling to help animals? Iams is NOT the only dog food company that does this. They all do. How do you think they come up with the nutritional informatin they print on the bags. The dogs are fed the food for a determined amount of time and then samples of organ tissues as well as blood work is done to determine the results. Some dogs are revived, others are not. This is not uncommon. Out dated and uncalled for yes. But all pet food companies do it.
