  • MCAS i think could stand for Marine Corps Assassination Sector in the future.

Also yeah some of their techniques were a little sloppy but how long were they doing it before they could film a part? We all get tired with a continuation of a fight. And second Martial Arts is a way of life not just a sport to some people.

  • The United States Armed Forces are as a whole the greatest fighting force in modern history. Even still, I see alot of sloppy jiujitsu in these clips. The unarmed portion of their training doesn't stack up to what any civilian can get at a decent MMA school. Here's hoping that changes.

  • @kentohiomma well man you need to realize what the military does is combative training, not sport training. MMA is sport fighting and frankly, it's specifically meant for the ring. Combative training is real life fighting, meant for self defense. Obviously the two will cross at some point in training but MMA is sport. There's a reason out military doesn't train for sport.

  • Day 121 Still looking for madskilz56's comment, ran out of food, had to eat my companion, Spot. I've ended up doing it Bear Grills style and drinking my own pee. If anyone finds this, please turn off my Xbox.

  • @futurebboy77 lmao

  • Love the choice of music for this video. USCM theme for the USMC!!

  • I want to be a marine but am not an american. I need some directions. email. casechase@yahoo.com all advice will be appreciated.

  • I love how top comments can be so wildly off the subject.

  • I actually learned how to do a rolling knee bar from just watching one of these videos O_o

  • The only way to teach someone effective self defence in a short time is to find a technique the person is really comfortable with and only practice that technique so it eventually lies in his/hers second nature and can apply it to almost any situation imaginable. If taught too much in too short amount of time will only breed confusion.

    Remember: K I S S, Keep It Simple, Stupid!

  • nobody compares to the marines

  • looks like fun... :)

  • wtf is this what amerikans do ?

  • @howhardcanyou you spelled americans wrong yes this is what marine corps do they caould kill you if they could with these moves.

  • what kind of steps would i need to take to be a martial arts instructor for the marines. is there certain qualifications before boot camp, do i choose that as a job before boot camp, is it something i have to work for first before i can request the job. i am joining the marines shortly, i just want to go ahead and find out the path i need to take to eventually do this maybe after 4 or more years in infantry first.

  • @XxChrisXx121 he stole it from a news article where a marine and his brother got into a fight at a bar and ended up getting shot at. if im not mistaken it happened around the same time his comment was posted

  • at 3:09 was the sickest move ever!

  • @MarineSnip3r18

    that's called a hip throw.

  • thumbs up

    btdt

  • what if a marine gets into a fight outside or the marine thing, at school with a minor?

  • Is this like krav maga?

  • @ticosexy22 More grappling than Krav Maga. MCMAP has Krav Maga in it though. Unlike Krav Maga, MCMAP likes the ground just as much as the stand up.

  • 2:08 the girl in the front isnt doing good push ups which makes it harder on the person behind her haha.

  • the usmc pull the wildest training faces!

  • Some poor technique on a few strikes, but I admire their intensity. They probably beat me in the throw department..

  • USMC USMC USMC

  • At 3:09 they use the move in call of duty

  • @snakelrman LOL

  • Beautiful!

  • The Few the Proud the kick ass Marines!!! i join in 4yrs if you have any tips for me please mail me on my account!!!

  • im enlisting after highschool. 2013

  • living the edge of awesome new wisdom. love you all. Love our Marines.

  • hey i'm 15 and i want to do marines and mma does anyone know the best way to go bout that>?

  • @MrWonderbread94 - If you want to get into MMA, go take boxing or Karate for strikes. Tae Kwon Do for kicks. Wrestling/jujitsu/BJJ for grappling. DO NOT take a MMA class that says "MMA". Most of those are complete crap.

  • @MrWonderbread94 If u want to do mma take muay thai for boxing and strikes take catch wrestling or bjj for ground controll. Id also recomend that u take judo judo helps alot.

  • I like that ruthless music they put for this video! Ruthless music for some ruthless heartbreakers and life takers!

  • me and my brother just came back from active duty and i took a advanced hand to hand combat class and some fucking dipshit came up behind me and smashed my face on the bar table because i was hitting on his girlfriend and my brother was there and he came up and punched him in the face and i broke about every single one of his ribs, dislocated his arm, and broke cheek and nose.....and took his girlfriend for a ride that night

  • @madskilz56 nice

    lol

  • @madskilz56 You shouldn't have been hitting on his girlfriend. Marine or not, you can still show decency and respect to other men out there, and not steal their girls. Makes no difference if you're a military man or a civilian. You aren't better than a man that has never served. Your conduct has proven it. No honour, no fidelity. No doubt you're tough, but that doesn't make you more of a man. It's an illusion. Self-control and decency is the mark of a real man.

  • @wattlebough well said

  • @wattlebough

i wouldn't worry too much: his story is totally made up

  • @wattlebough couldnt be said better

  • @wattlebough

Never truer words spoken, my friend.

  • @madskilz56 cool story bro pics or it didnt happen

  • @madskilz56 And then the ninjas jumped out of the bushes and you flicked one in the head and his brain exploded, and then you benched pressed 700 lbs.

  • @madskilz56 no one cares douchebag

  • Anyone know if a good dvd of MCMAP exists? Let me know

  • marines are the most badass motherfuckes there is. one day i hope to have that sense of security they possess, knowing how many ways they can take someone down, planning it all in thier head then excecuting with perfect technique. id love it

  • @shredder710

i think you're going to be a little disappointed the first time you try using your sub-par mcmcrap on a real fighter

  • @shredder710 been there done that

  • @shredder710 You want the sense of the security they have? one word boy. Enlist.

  • @shredder710 rangers special forces.

  • @shredder710 Don't fool yourself . 16 weeks Basic training does NOT equal one Black Belt ! Not even a good green belt ! These boys are OK but They Better never Fuck with an Ed Parker Black Belt . Rent the Movie ,, The Perfect Weapon with Jeff Speakman to see the Huge Diffrence . Jeff is a 10 Degree Kenpo Karate Black Belt and one of the Most Lethal Fuckers alive ! You wanna have a REAL ( not false) sense of Security take Kenpo for about 10 years like I did and get your Black Belt .

  • @nicktesla45

I have to say that you are right and wrong.. I've learned how to fight because of the marine corp. But i've also studied martial arts for 11 years. Never underestimate a marine cause you will be surprised at the training they go through for those 16 weeks.. Seriously..

  • note to self: never fuck with anyone in the marines unless i have a weapon on me... these guys are fucking lethal weapons. fucking beasts....

  • i leave for boot in 7 months can't wait either :D (damn college credits.)

  • @loldudeno God bless

  • oorah

  • Loved the choice of music for this video!!

  • SEIZUREEE

  • I leave for USMC boot in San Diego 20110524

  • brothers about to leave for boot camp soon

  • does every marine have to go thru full MCMAP training or just in bootcamp?

  • @a1excool433 continuos.. although job will dictate the necessity of your 'leveling up'

  • LOL....MCMAP good times. excpet it looks cooler on here for some reason. when i ddi it it was mostly jus us hammer fisting the ground

  • That training looked pretty intense. I wish you could join but not have to go to war and kill people.

  • if you ever want to die real quick just fight a US marine.

  • @flame21066

the marine martial arts are good but have a lot of holes in their techniques. the lethal hand to hand combat marines learn outside of their martial arts, which shows that anyone is capable of lethal combat skills

  • @smixup23 MCMAP's goal isn't to make grand master martial arts fighters. It's primarily a riot control / close quarters combat martial art with the intent of using stoping a threat as quickly as possible. Marines who served prior to the development of MCMAP actually say that line training was more brutal and deadly because line training was developed to kill as quickly as possible and had far less non-lethal tactics.

  • @errbarkkill so would you say that the MCMAP of today of covers more grappling and BJJ principles then the LINE system?

  • @smixup23 How so m8?

  • They are very good, but kravmaga is better

  • @kravista9425 Would you know from first hand experience?

  • I hate this MMA influence on the United States military. The U.S. is perhaps the most powerful country in the world and should prove it by the training the soldiers, sailors, and air men receive. Cage fighting is great for a workout but in all honesty the mentality of warfare should be just that and not some soldier pumping up like he's on his way to win a cage fight. Instead the military men and for Gods sake women should always train to fight for their lives.

  • @Revelation21st Are you fucking dumb?

  • @DudeHuge MMA is similar to US Army Combatives and MCMAP in terms of hand to hand combat. MMA will not help you in terms of taking advantage of weapons of opportunities or disarming an armed attacker. Gouging of tissue is prohibited in MMA as well. One thing you all have to understand, no matter how well trained you care, you always accept the fact that you can be injured or killed in a combat situation by some guy(s) who did not go through any formal training.

  • @Revelation21st They dont teach any style of UFC MMA during marine corps hand to hand combat training. If you see any US soldier doing UFC MMA then they're doing it because they want to. Dont get confused with tthe letters UFC and MMA. Two different things

  • @00kic

UFC and MMA arnt diff things rather UFC is a organization that has MMA fighting!

  • Never underestimate anyone. I can give you 2 examples of combat vets who returned home and were killed by civilians. One was a Marine in Cali and the other a Special forces sgt. killed by a drunk street brawler. Years ago there was a SEAL who was knocked out by a high school wrestler,, after complaining about a loud party, then came back and stabbed the kid to death. Both had been drinking.

The street is not about dueling and some Gracie Jiu-jitsu MMA crap. Look up Geoff Thompson.

  • @rodlpz True but the Marine killed was stabbed. Not by one guy but several. There were half a dozen or more guys involved in the stabbing.

  • @oddjobhat007 You better have your tan belt out of Boot Camp. There are several levels of instructor and this video was not clear on which level these Marines were training for except it was not the top end as that takes place at Quantico not Iwikuni.

  • Great video! this makes me want to go train hard!! I love the "ALIEN" music too!

  • Love the Aliens Music.

  • AHH i thought i was gonna be the first one to mention it. lol Well done

  • Could have been an interesting insight into a course. Shame the makers thought that the people watching would train by wrestling with their dog.

  • LOL TAN BELT NINJA YEAAAA

  • rah!

  • i cant wait to go to this course in the summer

  • I remember tha course it sucked

  • sec. 49... Intructor course, lol

  • if you are able to possibly learn how to swim they will teach you

  • oh shit I don't know how to swim

    and I'm about to enlist

  • dude i want to enlist myself, but i can't swim either lol

  • @massore1980 They'll teach you.

  • @TheSeven45 My dad didnt either and they tought him. I have about a few more years till i enlist

  • Then you're going to learn the Marine Corps way. Just do everything the DIs say, and you will be fine.

  • Man this video was off the chain. This kind of stuff makes me want to join the military. Just learing these incredible fighting styles and this deadly art make me want to become a marine. I just love to learn how to fight and use those guns and the best part is, is that I can actually use those skills on people. They teach you everything in there. That's why I want to join. You get taught how to withstand extreme weather conditions, how to fight, and how to be almost super-human. That's so cool.

  • i hope to be one of THE FEW THE PROUD THE MARINES but i cant join yet because im only 13 but i'll probily join after college so i can be an M.C.O

  • wow!!

  • i leave for boot camp in 9 days cant wait

  • @nickcrekvill Parris or Hollywood? I leave for Parris is 23 days, maybe see you there.

  • @nickcrekvill did you have the time of your life...not

  • @nickcrekvill Good Luck, just stay strong and you will be fine

  • @nickcrekvill Bet you wish you could take that statement back. wasnt quite what you expected was it?

  • @nickcrekvill Semper Fi!

  • @nickcrekvill oorah! i leave in 14!

  • @nickcrekvill what do you in the Marines?

  • omfg armbar

  • You see them? Im gonna be one of those asskikin mofos one day. USMC vs the world bizzitch!

  • Wish u the best, buddy. Youre gonna be one hell of a fighter.

  • the marines. so proud of them :)

  • moi ti bud....idk if thats how u spell it

  • we use krav maga for instance on how to take a gun away from somene and use it back on them. we twist the gun snapping their fingrs and pulling the gun out of their hand with it pointed at them. krav maga is an isreli/iraqi CQC.

  • I'm pretty sure Krav has no origin in Iraq.

  • I think that the martial arts used by USMC is a combination of Kung fu, ju jitsu, umm.....dang it I forgot. hey man this ain't dumb hollywood. Welcome to the battlefield of the 21st century. sorry. I'm feeling nervous if i transfer to USMC after being a naval aviator. I don't wanna lose my rank man....I mean yeah. Only martial arts I know is....well it's classified.

  • what rank, ur a freshmen in hs

  • wow, what a fucking little homo pretending to be a Naval Aviator, at least have the balls to say that you're not there yet. I want to join the USMC as a Judge Advocate General and you dont see me telling ppl that I'm already in the corps. I'm still in college and for ur info u dont know shit about martial arts!! I DO !! I've been practicing martial arts for the past 7 yrs. and no, the USMC uses MCMAP a blend of the best techniques from every martial art.

  • judo the one you forgot is judo

  • Can't wait for my green belt

  • Swede, are you an instructor?

  • It's like watching Chuck Norris in action. Funny how the WM was in the front of the pushup line.

  • It's probably because the Male Marines in that line are most likely a lot heavier then her.

  • Careful with the Knees.

  • lol @ 5:41

  • long live the united states special forces and police

  • long live U.S.A:)!@#$from ISRAEL

  • greaT VIDEO

  • To all the people who think you are such incredible fighters, go find a Marine or soldier fresh from Baghdad or Afghanistan, pick a fight with him, and come back here and let us know how that works out for you.

    Deeds, not words.

  • Depends on if he is a grunt or a turd chaser. I've met a few in my time I wouldn't even look at wrong. haha

  • @sonrise1979 but we martial artist here at home fight for sport ,for SELF defence and recreation and seldomly have fight for our lives its completly different.they fight to live they fight for our right to practice our martial arts and enjoy our privilages we enjoyIt wouldnt be fair fighters dont have that killer instinct ..that fire that killer instinct. Marines and seals are BESThave alot respect for them and hope to b/c 1 .

  • @sonrise1979 well put, i hate how people disregard military training (and marine training) so easily... i mean, being in such hostile places like they are sent to, they have to know how to singlehandledly unarm or inmoviliza any threat, armed or unarmed

  • @sonrise1979 good point. one flaw...the person who picks the fight with the marine or army member won't be able to come back. they will be dead =)

  • @sonrise1979 They're very tough guys no one could deny that. However, when pertaining to hand to hand combat they can't be at the level of a trained fighter. These exercises aren't meant to have them fight, but rather instill confidence in them. Firearms and weapons combat is what they use, wars are fought with weapons and heavy artillery. A lot of those drills are based on BJJ and grappling, so they can become good fighters because they are already tough and have the basics down.

  • @dannielpreto.... i agree with you... ..all due respect to my brothers in arms! but they do not have the training of a real fighter except for the msg! (instructor) no disrespect to any one just the truth!

  • @dannielpreto Corporal duhnam a medal of honor recipient lost his life from a grenade while engaging insurgents in hand to hand combat. Given the nature of these modern wars where there are civilians present and the enemy isnt always clear you may have the chance to perform hand to hand combat. Not to mention Marines provide security all over the world at embassys and military installations hand to hand is not out the door.

  • @sonrise1979 Whooped em.

  • @sonrise1979 Being in the armed forces means you are disciplined and humble...

  • I'm joining the US Marines in 2 years!!! Also, my first day at my Mixed Martial Arts school I went in fighting like a street fighter, then I got shin kicked in the jaw, so yes high kicks do work on the streets.

  • I like this program, they are showing alot of effort, DO WORK!

  • In most cases its part of training.

  • how can i do that?!

  • Marines are so hardcore...

  • What's that thing they're doing at 1:37, it looks tough

  • yes every Marine learns at least basic MCMAP (ie tan blet).

  • do you get anything at all if you get in the marines with martial arts experience?

i kickbox and i;m thinkin bout joining the marines....do i get anything?

  • no. but you can do instuctor course and teach.

  • I love the soundtrack from Alien 2. :D

  • how come you always get tooled in the UFC?

  • Many different reasons, 1. Any branch of the military is trained to kill not hurt. So taking information from this video, in a real life scenario one of which would be dead. Marines that fight in the UFC cant use these tactics, instead they train (like everyone else) on UFC tactics, For example, UFC= ground and pound, USMC= ground and snap neck. Lol Its just not the same thing.

  • This is true, but on the street if someone tries to kill you that is a different story, anything goes to come out alive. That is why no one messes with Marines, Seals, Russian Spetsnaz, etc. on the streets. All the flowery high kicking don't work against street fighters because they are attacking you to hurt or kill you and they ain't going by any rules.

  • "No one messes with Marines on the streets." Your fucking stupid. WTF do you know about spetsnaz idiot?

  • Experience in street fights is familiar to me. We called them grudge matches. Low kicking should not be ruled out, very effective. Most of my opponents would try to tackling me with out effective based knowledge. I've trained with others who have trained as Marines, Seals, Army. It depends on the individual. A lable does not make you superior over another.

  • jody marines are trained to kill so how wouldnt this help u on the streets fucking moron????

  • Take a look at Martial Arts. Why were they invented? To hurt people and protect yourself. When they were developed, where were they originated? On the streets. I've only taken TaeKwonDo for 3 years, guess what saved me in a street fight? A high-kick straight to the neck (was aimed for the head though). It put my opponent on the ground, frightened. He was confused and disoriented. So my flowery high-kick isn't effective? It work just like it was intended, and may have saved my life?

  • Yes but the range of time where high kicking is effective versus when low kicking and hand techniques are effective is statistically very different due to footwear, terrain, and environmental conditions. I've seen plenty fights on ice and snow and believe you ain't high kickin on that surface, or in a crowd, or very close area or range.

  • theres a time and place for every move?

  • Most martial arts operate off of the duel scenario. A scenario where both combatants no the score and both are ready and willing to fight. However, the reality is much, much uglier than that. There are no duels in the street, and if you pulled off a high kick, great. Your targeting was where it was supposed to be in the neck!!!! Not the head. Traditional martial arts, and ufc mixed martial arts blow! Period. Learn some targets, and then learn how to destroy those targets and you'll be a badass.

  • @GBlues1 So far all I see is traditonal techniques like elbow strikes and hammer fist. They are using bjj for ground defense. So how does mma or tma blow if the stuff they use is what most people already know. All they doing is drills like mma and no forms. Whats the big deal. Also tma teaches targets. No point of punching and kick if your only hitting the chest. Got to go for the neck, groin, eyes, solar plexus, knees, back of the head, and kidneys right? But I guess those arent targets rights?

  • Exactly how is it different dumbass? All of the moves they're doing were taken from traditional martial arts developed by cultures for combat and self defense. Any move in mma is potentially deadly on the street. There is no fighting system called UFC tactics moron. The sloppy technique and lack of regular practice is more likely to put these guys in harms way than to help them. A couple courses aren't enough.

  • We used to have a good defence in sweden, but now they´re cutting down on everything. It´s a sad fact. Every country needs to be able to defend itself.

  • 5:33 ahhh i can see his taint

  • 2:1ß...wtf!? I'll try it :D

  • Nice video. Is that Iwakuni?

  • jumping through ringsof fire sounds like a dog show! lets see one of those little nips handle anything but a sub- machine gun.

  • Agreed.

    Cpl Donovan, William

    Brown Belt Instructor

  • you think this is tough look at the ROKMC . they are the south korean marin core, they make them break brick with their heads while jumping through rings of fire.

  • Jumping through rings of fire is great training for firefighters but I'm not sure what it has to do with self defense

  • fuckin theme from Aliens

    badass man, 5 stars haha

  • A lot of Krav Maga techniques being used including the bear hug and head lock escapes...

  • Don't you wish our Swedes had such a decent military power? ^^

  • You do have, not to mention that Sweden has one of the best panser corps in the world, since they started producing their Leopards

  • Yes, I live in Sweden and I don't know if you heard, but our defence minister will trap down on our defence even more.

Soon we'll have no army left if they keep this up.

  • if this introduction wat is avansed like

  • I would love nothing more than to go back through boot camp, and then go on to 03 basic and then to recon school... SEMPER FI to all Mrines past present and future.

  • Nice. Very intense as well. Until what age can you join the marines?

  • 17 with parent signature, 18 you can sign yourself

  • 17 if you finish High School early or the 2% of the people they take a year with a GED. Don't settle for GED, unless you have to.

  • Dude mad props to you for this vid.... well made my friend, well made

  • Black belt instructors course straight haze fest.
