One thing this country needs is a law requiring that any bill put before congress has to actually be read by the elected and understood by the representatives. If it is too complicated or long, it should be rejected on that alone.

We should take note of all the congressmen who passed it, and make damn sure they are NOT re-elected. I wrote to my senator UDALL, and he sent me a spam saying I should SUPPORT THIS!!! So he is on the list!! Please everybody let's unite and take our country back and elect a government who fears the people!

I hear you!! I was totoally ashamed when I saw that my state WA was on the list of R's that had voted FOR this god awful bill. I had even called his office that morning and told them to vote NO on it because he was undecided. Well there will be no indecision when it comes time to vote his ass out!!

Boehner might have been the only representative that actually read the bill it seems like. Thank god for his effort here, but 219 members still failed the American people; one being Dave Reichert (R-WA) from my state of washington... I hate the guy.

I agree, and as for Reichert, it's one thing to want to protect environment, but to be dumb enough to think this bill is anything but a huge power grab and tax hike, is an outrage. If he's not that dumb, then he voted against the people's interests, just to stay in office, that is unforgivable!!!

Thanks to the web, and people like you and so many others below and above, we just might be able to break the seal. I'm grateful for those who built America into what it has been and can continue to be, if enough of us get involved. I'm a recovering baby boomer, who happens to believe that the generations following mine contain so many more people with the 'Right Stuff ' This brings me hope; real hope!
