Very Good.

Although she sounded a little nervous on L'Amore Sei Tu, Katherine really nailed One Fine Day (which is not an easy aria). Overall, not too bad for someone who is not an opera singer. At present she IS the best popera singer there is.

With a voice like hers, Katherine is going to be a great operatic mezzo-soprano. All you Katherine-Haters will be exposed for what you really are in the not too distant future. Go Katherine.

I think she may be having some trouble..maybe the dress is tight around the diaphragm, which makes breathing difficult. I have seen her in concert for living a dream and she did not take as many breaths as she does here, I'm a singer too and sometimes you just have off breating days.

Musical taste is subjective, and though I couldn't adore or appreciate Katherine more (see posts below!) :-), I respect other people's right to disagree. But, the problem has been a combination of snobbery and jealousy - snobbery from the classical critical elite who resent popular success ("how vulgar!), and jealousy from certain fans that Katherine, with her vocal magnificence, unbelievable beauty, and charm, should have a golden touch so eclipsing their own 'favourite' classical stars.
