@namybot As an American I feel like the majority of Americans drive the stupidest cars (Hummers, SUVs, and pick-ups) but we also have a few good cars. Note that most of them are developed by Europeans (Ford GT) but some are genuinely american, (Viper, SSC Ultimate Aero, Corvette.) I personally don't understand "American Muscle," but I don't have anything against the classic American cars.

PS, Pick up trucks are fine if they are actually used to haul things around.

But if it werent for them, you couldnt fit 7 people in any sports car or pinto could you. Maybe 5 max for a camaro or a mustang, dodge challenger. But suvs are for hauling people around, keeping groceries dry. Trucks are for running things over, and towing a nice 21k lb boat. And fit more than 5 people.

@MrGunth3r American muscle cars might be cool and so, but they dont stand a chance against these 3 cars, Bugatti Veyron Fully tuned same with Koenigsegg CC8S when fully tuned and then the Koenigsegg CCGT Fully tuned, those three are beasts. Not even the shitty old SSC Ultimate Aero when fully tuned stands a chance against my tuned Koenigsegg CCGT

this is funny because one of the quickest cars in the quarter mile is a supra.... and its street legal that runs in the 6's look it ujp. By the time you got ine of these in the 6's it wouldnt be street legal. Muscle cars are dead. Everyone just has to live with that fact. A stock supra (3.0 24valve 6 liter) Runs 175. A new camaro doesent come close to that and its a 2010 car... thats sad. You can tune a 94 honda hatch to run in the 7's and the majority of muscles i see on the track run like 8's.

Third I tune cars in real life for both track and drag racing and know that most of these cars would be awful on the drag strip simply because they're too heavy and it would be too costly to consider using one of these over something contemporary.

People get confused on what a drag race is. A fucking drag race is all about the cars not about the driver . It show how fast the car can go and how quick it can get up to top speed the driver is only there to hit the pedal and keep it straight . Circiut raceing is about the driver not so much on the car .Drag raceing is about the car not the driver

Your not entirely right, it depends on what kind of Drag racing you want to do, if its 1/4 racing its all about the driver AND the car setup. Reaction time is almost always crucial to winning. Drag Racing is NOT about top speed.
