Thanks for taking the time to make and post this video. This Sega Cd version of Lunar is my favorite of all of the versions and of all time. It stands out with its voice acting, music and story. Little things like the reason for Ghaleon turning evil because he lost his friend, Dyne, and Luna being the symbol of home after Alex leaves Saith as opposed to going with him on his journey are different from the other versions and are the simplest but the purest of the many versions. I was quite surprised by it. I played it right after putting up the PS1 version's video. It was interesting to see all the differences, especially in the story.
I think I liked the PS1 version better. I think it was because they were able to flesh out the characters a bit better than the Sega CD version. Like Kyle, for example. In the Sega CD version, he's just there and joins up, more or less. In the PS1 version, you get a good feel for what he's really like before he joins up.
I also think the reasoning for Ghaleon being evil was a bit better in the PS1 version as well.

@dluu81 No problem. It is quite interesting how the two versions differ from each other. Storywise, they are almost two different games.
