I put a Supertiger .75 2 stroke on mine, and it balanced PERFECTLY! Not an ounce of weght was added, and it has amazing power. With a 12X6 prop, it's been clocked at 135 mph out of a dive, and with a 14X4 prop, it has even more amazing vertical!
hey.. just wondering which is the best engine for this model. I have this model running on OS 46 but no power at all.. The model seems very underpowered... which is the best engine for this that fits into the cowl as well on the default mounts and 2 stroke.. i am looking at ASP and OS... also what prop do you suggest the for the same?
only with full throttle, this 2 stroke engine dont have power enough in low rpm and the throttle respons is to slowly.. i will try with the ASP 91 4stroke 20% nitro :)
55ax sucks for this plane, i started with it,just like this guy says you need to be full throttle to have any power, just bottom line 55ax does not do the job at all, i now have a saito 82 in mine, big difference in power, also running a 14x4 apc. To be honest this plane sucks, its way to heavy, even with a saito 82 im still wanted a little more power, and it is so hard to land now that its very heavy.

yes i have this plane not my style but and os 55 has plenty of poop, I run a 13x6. if running stock exhuast pull the baffle out of the pipe. way more power!!
oh if your geting a slow reasponse from your 55 ax look at your low end idle screw and turn it in a 1/4 turn and it should be beter

i got one a few mouths ago with a 55 ax and way under powered for 3d stuff so im puting a 110 fs a 4 stroke in it and shoule be way over powered

@orandaboy yes i can make it hover, not easy to do.. the os55ax is too weak for hover or 3d.

i Dont remember that, but i make my plane a little tail heavy.. i still use my OS-55ax now with 13x4 prop and 10%nitro..

55ax is not good for 3d/aerobat planes
I more want a 4stroke engine.
and remember make it tail heavy

@Pajstrup yer i thonk 4 stroke would be much better ive get the same plane but ive just put a 110 fs os 4 stroke motor in mine hope it gose well :)
