Great video gentlearts. Thanks for bringing awareness to this subject. Unscented bleach is also a good alternative. It is one of the best cleaners/ disinfectants available. It is really cheap and highly accessible. Just don't forget to rinse the equipment...
@MrAndysGotIt I know a lot people use bleach. I have always been a little worried that there could be some bleach residue in my brew. That stuff can be nasty.
I paid 12 bucks for my star san up here in new york. I think its an 8 ounce bottle... Its worth looking into to save money once my bottle runs out in a year or two.
Hey buddy, that's great that you found that it will help some people for sure. For now I'm a low quantity home-brewer so my $7/5 oz bottle of Starsan will do me at least a year or more and that's pretty affordable. Cheers,Take Care!
hmmm... it's great you've found cheaper alternatives to starsan for us home brewers down under, but i think i'll stick with my el-cheapo, unscented diluted bleach. never had an infected beer so far... :)
Star San costs the same here in Canada..... I think I'm going to shop around and see if i can find sanitizers like that here.... good tip Gent

@StreetMachine18 All depends on how much you brew. I brew a lot because I have a drinking problem LOL SO I am making good savings.
