I was in college during the folk years. I remember going to my girlfriend's apartment, hoping her roommate was away.... That was '62. I graduated in Aug '63, and was told "if we don't get you in Oct. we'll get you in Nov." Hooray for the draft! I volunteered to go to Korea--and discovered that the ones who didn't went to 'Nam [1965]. But the folksongs bring back the time when I was ignorant of what would happen. Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

In those days people seemed more innocent and were taught to use their talent & allowed to be creative. Today our schools do not teach proper etiquette, good morals and creativity is not allowed.
