@Tuner010 Actually, 'in real life' balto was a husky. Universal Studios used the half wolf bit to make the story much more interesting. Balto's story, though dramatized, was still somewhat accurate, he did deliver the needed medicine in a massive ice storm. But the movie itself is 'based' off of the true story.

@4everTailsFan11 My bad I looked up Balto and he was Husky,the story is based on the real one,but they obviouisly had throw in some scenes where no one acutally knows what happened between the driver fainting,and when the team pulls into port/town.

No, you don't know your history. The whole movie was fictional, the real story involved a husky, that wasn't the most intelligent dog, but did manage to bring the original team to safety.
