  • Stop Pulling in the clutch. use the brakes and down shift...but nice video otherwise.

  • you're labouring the engine dude, I got one of these, and when you're having a nice slow cruise, it likes to be sat around 4000 rpm, on faster runs, 6000 plus

  • open that baby up man!

  • Fun starts at 6k... the engine will tell you the rest of what ya need to do.

  • My Grandma drives faster

  • are those miles per hour?

  • Ugh is gas that expensive that your always in such high gear? That bike really enjoy 6000+ rpms... don't baby it so much.

BTW i was able to decipher your whole credit card number from your mini card, it's no longer valid though.. oh well

    JK JK...

  • omg, the sv650 driver seems to ride a bike the first time in his life. always using the clutch for slow driving... how about using a lower gear?

  • This video makes me miss summer man...

  • god damn sun in my eyes!

  • that scenery looks familiar, where are you guys?

  • are you still in the break in? is that why your taking it so easy or what? my sv 08 s model is flippin sweet it'll bounce the front tire all the way through in between shifts. hell it brings it up in 1st if you hit it to hard.

  • At least he has a bike. And whos to judge and say he should've started out on a "smaller" bike? thats such bullshit. It's all about practice, respect for the bike, yourself, and others, and taking your time with things. And try to stop coasting, I know you've been hearing that a lot, but it kinda just makes you look a lil dumb, maybe squidly, but not too much. Oh, if you coast around a corner with no torq going to the real wheel, its actually more likely to slide out, smooth and steady is key.

  • use the clutch to change the gear and the breaks to slow down

  • man u ride really flippen weird.

no offence or anything, but for the time being, id just stay away from you till you grasp the techniques for riding a bit better

especially the hole clutch thing.... it annoys me.

ur buddy has a nice bike and a nice relaxing way of riding. learn from him.

  • Why are you engaging the clutch every three seconds? Never engage the clutch while cornering. And as others have said use the front brake in combination with the rear and get used to engine braking. IMO you should have started on something smaller 500 and lower. Because you will crash it eventually and you want something which is forgiving. It's not worth wasting 10K on a bike which you know will crash. Something the squidlies do a lot.

  • When braking, using the front brake is essential. Because of all weight being pushed forward the front brake is used far more than the rear. Only scooter-riders use the rear brake only cuz' they don't know any better.

  • does this show your first rides on the sv? try to use the motor brake instead of the clutch when rolling along. @rear brake lock: using both brakes in these situations can save meters

  • Du bist echt zu dumm zum Moppedfahren...Ständig mit gezogener Kupplung am fahren...du kannst nix...:-D Tommy halt...

  • The most boring video ever

  • ha.
